Yes, I do. But linguists are already telling us that the meaning has changed, and that we old codgers need to just accept it, because "very" and "really" went through this same change years ago--and now it's litterally's turn. The definition now includes "used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true."

Fifty years from now, many of these will be accepted as standard English. And they forgot “could of” instead of “could have.” I’m still trying to get used to changes in meanings. I’ve heard/read “infamous” and “notorious” referring to positive traits several times in recent months. Don’t even get me started on pronunciation.

Birdied the 12th hole. Thought I had already punched that ticket this year, but looking at the spreadsheet, looks like I haven't. Nine left.

Tell me about it. It took me 7 strokes (chips/putts) on one of our greens last year because I couldn’t get the ball to stay on the green—kept rolling off. Most of that green is a 5.0 to 6.7% according to my Husky level.

Is it just me, or does something seem ironic (or maybe completely non-ironic) that the release of the movie No Time To Die was postponed due to a pandemic?

I see your point. I don't know what the final interpretation will be. But the result of A's first putt (without concession) is that it is holed. If the concession prevents this, then the concession is preventing the first putt from coming to this final result. Whether or not it was at rest, since the ball had not been lifted and replaced, if it is moved by a natural force, the next stroke will be from the "new spot." In this case, the "new spot" is from the hole. So there's no next stroke to be conceded. At least that's the way I see it. I've been wrong before. ["I've been wrong before. Thought I made a mistake. Yes it can, because a concession can be made while the ball is still in motion from the previous stroke (and the concession then doesn't matter if the ball is holed). If what you wrote is correct, the ball would no longer be in play before it comes to rest from the previous stroke.

13.1d Ball on putting green (without having been lifted and replaced) is moved by a natural force, so the next stroke is played from its new spot = holed. 3.2b(1): If a concession is made and the ball is holed, the concession does not matter.

The first ball was holed, and play of the hole for him was over. So, yeah, a (single) hole in one. But a neat story.

That’s too bad when it comes to that. Maybe this has been asked before (and I’ve forgotten), but in his profile in the forum threads he has a line through his name, but the next line says “well established member” and “established member.” His profile page says the same. Do those get updated?

I can't speak for 1982. But from my iPhone version of the 2018 RoG (yes, somehow it still transferred over to my iPhone 12). The circumstances are important (the decision included two more paragraphs I didn't quote below), but in this context it also violated the 2018 rules. There's no specific indication as to whether listening to music or even using headphones might be "distracting" to other players or if specific music might be considered "disrespectful conduct" to another player in the group, with all of the attendant consequences. (Sorry, wrong thread.)
