Jackson joined for the 89-90 season, not the 88-89 season.
-
I don't think he is style would have been a good mix for Rose? Yup, and more will come his way.... What about all the Jordan years he couldn't get past the Pistons?? Three years in a row....88-89-90. They finally went and got a new Coach and good players....unlike the Cav's! I agree 100%. He needed to leave. Gilbert couldn't get any good players to help. LeBron made the best decision by leaving. I know you are directly hurt by it since you are a Cav fan, but I disagree.. They brought in scrubs who they thought would play beyond there skill. Mo Williams? Shaq? Dan Gilbert didn't bring in jack! That team had so many missing pieces you might as well throw it away and buy a new one. Look at all the Championship teams over the last 10 or more years....How many good players are on those teams...Lakers, Celtics, Spurs and Bulls?? They all have 3 or more stars and above average role players who can turn it on or be starters on other teams and probably be all stars if on other teams. He made a sound decision to leave Cleveland regardless of where he went and he felt Miami is it.

Ball Markers. What do you use?
J_Bone replied to LeviTee's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I use this marker , but I have a magnet clip on my hat I attach to when I'm not using it on the Green. -
LOL.....That happened the week of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He was searching for his lost ball and he didn't believe there were jumping Cactus in AZ.

I would go back to the store you bought it from and ask them to give it to you. If they can't find it, ask them to get it for you!! I bought mine from PGA superstore and they tried to rush me out the door with a Sumo cover and NO wrench. I had to say something about the wrong cover. After making it know I wasn't going to leave without it, then they went into the back of the store and tried to pawn me an old dirty used one. I then had to get a bit forceful and made them get me a brand new cover that hasn't been trashed. They finally got me a brand new one that was still in the plastic wrap and had the manuals, club head information and wrench. Not to pleased with the personal and customer service from PGA superstore.

Don't need to since your here. Thanks!

ah sweet! I wish they were rub on stickers or smaller. When I say rub on, I mean these... http://www.rockabilia.com/product.ph...at=2250&page;=1 That would get rid of the white back ground and be letters only.

WOW. America is so mis guided and wrongfully represented by the media that everyone thinks they know what they are talking about on issues that are so far geographic and from the truth. It's evident America believes the lies they are told every day and don't have the aptitude to find the truth. I have lived and have interest in 3 of the 4 boarder states and have lived this issue of concern my whole life. I hope some day it will effect your life and family. I see the majority of you reside far from the area and have no idea of what is really going on here. Then maybe you too will have your eyes opened. -

Everyone can offer suggestions for what works for them. Maybe you can get an idea of different ones to try. BUT, you need to try them on grass and see how they feel and respond to you. If you are a digger like you said, you may need clubs that have a more forgiving bounce and sole. Something with a thicker sole. -
Well, I just had my first practice session since reading the book. I started out making good contact but the direction was shaky with big fades. I took a break and mentally went over what I was doing and compared it to what I read. I was still coming over the top too much and not tilting on the downswing. Once that was corrected the down swing movement went smooth and the ball went exactly where I wanted. The ball had a 5 yard draw and was going 180 yards with an 7 iron. I only hit Irons today and will get to the Woods on Thursday. Very impressed so far with ball striking and control when done properly.

Tiger Woods Breaks a Promise, Misses Kid's Birthday Again

That shouldn't be the only concern. "Looking into the mirror" Confusion seems to be the norm these days. Ah yes. It's not our problem or issue. Especially since we don't have the true....Facts. "who cares". -
I like my STR8 fit a lot. It allowed me to tinker with it and see how my swing reacts with all the different settings. With out it, I would have never had the luxury to see what works for me and how others don't. My last two outing were the best I've ever driven the ball.

Mines better than yours...sick huh?

HAHA...Burn it down...Turn over some more cars and break some windows. Woot! Woot! Lets destroy the city! Genius

Yup. I think if the defender jumps strait up and not into the Offensive player, it should be called charging on the offensive player who jumped into the defender. Now if the defender just into the offensive player, then yes it's a foul. That would be ideal, but it's not that easy. That's what all my Celtic friends said. Now, I don't care for the Celtics nor the Lakers, so I didn't care which team won. I thought it was even and even in the sense of your quote below. Both teams got away with some cheap stuff. I agree 100%. I see a lot of cheap stuff not get called and then a lot of stupid ones get called. The referees need to be looked at much closer. But David Stern won't let that happen.

I do.....Just my back swing is much shorter than the rest of my clubs.

I believe the 6+ is an older version or older box.

Does anyone use Tifosi with Rx lenses? I like a the Salvo glasses with GT lens. The price isn't too bad @ $163 total. I'm just wondering how good there Rx lenses are?? I usually don't play with glasses at all, but I like to use them on the Green and for putting, but he clear Rx glasses are to bright here in AZ. -
Get your weight over your back leg on the back swing and TRY to get it back over the front leg on the down swing. Not the exact words, but what was happening. I got stuck with too much weight on the back side and had horrific results.

Shoulders at Address - Rounded or Back?
J_Bone replied to iacas's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Yes, I did it 2 months ago (not sure why I was trying it??) and I pinched a nerve/tore muscle between my spine and shoulder blade. Burned like a son of a B!@##!! I have since gone to the Dr. and got a couple treatments and now finally ready to get back to it. It still pisses me off why I would even try it and the obvious out come. One positive....I have since read a certain book while being laid up and I am ready to get back out practicing and play a few practice rounds. -
I know why they both didn't make the cut..... They both wear Murses. .........

First off, use what you have confidence in. For sand, use something with a medium to high bounce. I use my 60LW as my sand wedge and my 56 for every thing else. Kind of the opposite of what others do, but I like it and have good success with it.
