It will be cheap for sure. I'd play Quintero or Legend Trail if you are up in that area. Rancho Manana is a short kind of target style course. It is scenic but it seems like they had to stick it in a small plot of land.

TST's New Warnings System for Users
MuniGrit replied to iacas's topic in Announcements & Tech Support
@iacas I've asked a couple times and you just delete my question. I can assume because it's off topic so I think it's ok here. Why can't I PM?- 9 replies

I don't like going to top golf and don't want to watch people play top golf.

Yeah I think he is a 2 to 3 but not on the plus side. A plus 3 would go 4 rounds without a birdie. He is just a little delusional about his skill.
-
Yeah he shoots high 70s to 80 in the qualifiers. He is one of these Instagram pros that has his followers believing he is a mini tour guy. Disclaimer he moved a few years ago and I haven't played with him in a couple years bit I doubt he all of the sudden went from mid 70 shooter to a +3.

Honest question since I really am not sure you understand how PED and other similar drugs work. How do you think PED's work? Also off topic but why can't I PM?

They talked about it on the telecast that he was working on that. He definitely did on that swing. If you hit it like he did I wouldn't mess with it.

I'll tell you who else Tiger has made millions and millions of dollars. Sports books and bookies over the past 20 years. Tiger fans always lay his bloated odds and the books clean up.

Yeah Lee Trevino said he lost money when he won the Brittish Open. Many have already mentioned this but that is why a lot of top Americans passed on that tournament back in the day.

I prefer my wedges heavier. Personally I'd go with your SW and LW with same steel shaft so they are similar unless you like the other shafts more. Those shafts in your set are probably about 40 percent lighter in weight than a steel DG R300 or S300. They do make a wedge flex too.

How many of you guys have a friend that is roughly a scratch golfer and is still chasing the dream? I got a friend who says he is plus 3, which is so false but all his Instagram followers think he is a pro, and still enters all sorts of tournaments. He gets creamed and always blows his money on US Open qual too and never comes close. I always tell him a man needs to know his limitations.

I saw the 4 piece and 3 piece the other day and thought about getting them. I realized that I have too many prov's and chrome softs currently to justify it. I heard the 4 piece is like a rock feel off the club.

Good looking swing!

I may be wrong but those are older swings of Reed and he has got away from the front foot spinning left on the downswing.

Saying I hope someone comes clean doesn't mean you have bad feelings. I have even seen you on here when giving honest advice call it tough love. He is right, it would be good for Reed to be honest. Look at Daly's checkered past and people love him because he is honest about his troubles in life. People like honesty, not liars and thieves.
-
Yes and he has always took risks on shady characters. I don't think this is SMU's first offense. Why should I take anytime to respond to you? You love to edit my posts and yours. You have some issues with being able to dish out heat but not take it?

No I wasn't perfect but I didn't lie and steal. When there is two separate schools where the players accuse a guy of cheating, there is a pattern. I tend to believe the players who are known as good guys like Harmon, Husdon Swafford. Also why was he suspended at Augusta State then?

“I’m hoping one day he’ll come out and have the honesty to talk about his past. It would really be a great cleansing process for him, but I don’t know if he’ll ever do that. I wish he would, because unfortunately he’s going to get always get questions about his past. Always questions about what happened at Georgia, what happened at Augusta State, what happened with his parents. I wish he would get it off his chest at some point in life, because I think it would help him become a better person.” —Josh Gregory I would have sent that in a PM but I'm not allowed so the topic stays on the masters.

His parents had money. He grew up on a Country Club. There is one constant in all this accusations from trouble at both colleges, boozing and parents covering it up, family rifts, teammates on two different teams not liking him. As his coach at Augusta State said, I hope someday Patrick comes clean with his past and tells a story so everyone can learn from it. Golfwise he is a he'll of a competitor. His short game is arguably the best on tour and nobody talks about it much. He is the opposite of a lot of guys out there that fold up under pressure. It takes some good fortunes to go your way to win a major and he capitalized unlike Rory. I also noticed he doesn't spin that front foot out like he used to.

That is just one of the many examples where there are holes in the stats. Stats can be skewed anyway to fit a narrative. Yes pros hit many good shots that turn into the nGIR where they use putter but doesn't count in the stats. I get it people want to make the game playable from spread sheets and not in the dirt.
-
Golf isn't played in a vacuum. I know you guys want to play the game from spread sheets and stats but there are some flaws in that method. For example I'm a quarter inch off the green on a huge green and the rules official when I call him over to confirm says I'm off the green. I'm 100 feet from the pin and use my putter and put it to tap in. I get no credit for that since I'm technically not putting.

I don't have any respect for someone who treats their family like shit. I'm sure Reed' s Dad afforded him golf and gave him a ton of opportunities as a youth. What parent wouldn't have concerns about someone marrying at 22 quickly? Then toss in how he treated his wife on TV when she was his caddy(don't mix business and blood pay a caddy you cheap skate) and nobody on tour really knows this aloof cocky dude. You also don't get kicked off a team for underage drinking sorry.

While Bubba may not be known as a great putter inside of 10 feet, I have always heard he was a great lag putter though. There is a formula to win at Augusta. Play all the holes even par except the par 5's hit in 2 and 2 putt birdie.
