  1. All you did was made a A flex shaft stiffer. Could accomplish the same thing by buying the same shaft in a stiffer flex.
  2. Many custom clubs come with a + - 2* tolerance. I wouldn't fret about 1* unless you play for big bucks.
  3. Unless you're a fairly skilled player. The 60* wedge is a skull machine, especially if it has any significant bounce and the lie is tight.
  4. I carry a UW, PW and a 54* sand wedge. If I need a high soft SW shot I just open the blade and swing slow and full. The pros have been doing that shot since before the dinosaurs walked the earth. I have a 60* and a 56* but found I really didn't need them. When carrying the 60* wedge, I found I used it maybe once in 4 rounds of golf. The extra space in my bag is taken up by a 3 wood, 3 hybrid and a 5 wood that use all the time.
  5. It's not much of a fitting when you come out worst than when you went in. I would go to someone who can use a launch monitor outside and has good reviews.
  6. A professional golf shop should be able to bend the shaft, not the hosel.
  7. One has to ask what is the standard length for metal woods? Drivers used to be 43.5" Now they are 45 or 46. I would say play them as the are. No need to make an already long club even longer. Most people, pros included, play them shorter, not longer. I play my driver at 44.5". My irons are 1/4" over standard.
  8. "Lie: 69 degrees" ???? The standard lie I believe is 59*
  9. I've been adjusting my iron this way for quite awhile. The shorter irons are flatter and the longer iron are more upright. Mine don't follow the usual progression that comes with a normal set. Works great for me.
  10. It's getting to where you can either by a set of golf clubs or a good used car for the same money.
  11. I would bend them to my specs and play them.
  12. Make sure the grip isn't mis-alighted.
  13. I have 3 sets of Ping irons, i3OS, g10 and G30's. All 4 thru U wedge.
