  1. Do any of the single digit handicappers out there play with high handicappers? I'm talking about playing with guys that cannot break 100 more than once in a blue moon. If you do play with these types, do you get frustrated playing with them and does it effect your game? I ask because I've played with an old buddy of mine who played collegiate golf at Houston and while he was a good sport about it, I kept getting the feeling that he was very frustrated having to play with me. I'm sure you'd rather play with good golfers on your level but do you go out of your way to avoid playing with us hackers?
  2. I'm going to subscribe to this thread and read over it when I have time. Sounds neat and anything Erik highly recommends is good enough for me.
  3. Ironically, for me it's also my TaylorMade Raylor. It's good enough out of the rough but it's just way too situational for me to carry. I'm going to trade it in or sell it.
  4. The video doesn't load for me. At least it hasn't in the 10 minutes the browser window has been open. I'm guessing that he's the guy in the video named Norm or Norman.
  5. I have no intention on playing this any time soon but just for fun I looked at the tournament at Doral in the summer of next year. It's $295 which does not include the $100 one time fee. Ouch!
  6. I'll be following the LPGA a little more closely next year. And what he ^ said too.
  7. 1) Break 90 2) Improve driving accuracy to 50% or better 3) Play and practice more than 2010 4) Get index to 18 or below
  8. Congrats and well deserved.
  9. I played Disney's Championship course, Magnolia, last weekend. Great course and very nice scenery. It's challenging but not a confidence-killer. It's about $125 to play.
  10. Congrats. That's a big drop from 102 to 93. Sometimes it all comes together like that though. Not saying this will happen, but I hope you aren't crushed mentally if you go out next time and shoot a 115. That's golf for ya.
  11. I often times play better in tougher conditions. I think I tend to tell myself before the round "well it looks like I'm going to play like dog crap today" and I always surprise myself. I guess it gets me to play looser.
  12. The TaylorMade Raylor can really cut through some thick rough.
  13. I have the R9 460 and love it. I have not hit the other two so I can't comment on them.
  14. I can't hit mine out of the fairway at all. The one constant is very low trajectory hooks. I suppose if I ever need to hit a low stinger hook around some trees I have the club for that.
  15. How is performance?
  16. I'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences both positive and negative on these. They can be had really cheaply right now at $70 new online. I've read mostly good things.
  17. I have zero golfing friends. A buddy of mine will play with me a few times a year but otherwise I'm solo.
  18. The 3pm to 6pm ET coverage is indeed standard. The Golf Channel almost always has late morning/early afternoon coverage which hasn't been the case for this tournament.
  19. That $80 credit card transaction part of the story was kind of weird I must say. Other than that, good luck and have fun.
  20. I know it's been said over and over again but the coverage of this tournament stinks.
  21. Great video. I've always been a Bubba fan but I love seeing that the guy actually has some personality unlike a lot of the stiffs on tour.
  22. I'm not spending $2500 or anything near that on a putter unless it makes putts itself for me.
  23. Which TaylorMade hybrids/rescues did you go with?
  24. Regular shaft. My swing is mid to upper 90's and while I guess I could have justified going with a stiff shaft, I am much more consistent with the regular shaft. I think there is some sort of perceived macho-ness associated with swinging a stiff flex but in my opinion a lot of people would be better suited with a regular shaft.
