This Aimpoint method definitely has my curiosity, I was wondering if anyone could elaborate how you determine the ZBL. I understand it has to do with the way you see the cup basically it is even on both sides and top and bottom are on a plumb line right? I was just wondering the actual technique or is it acquired through training your eyes.

Whenever I have a match I pray that I draw someone who has not taken the Aimpoint course. When practicing with my knitting needles, levels, and swinkey...I just let folks think I am nuts .. I also use some talcum powder to make some lines to work to point to point putts. Then I attribute my triple breaking made putts to a "lucky guess" to my opponents/playing companions. So, bottom line..if you are a skeptic..remain so and bring your wallet.. Remember.. All putts break downhill...period.

Take a class. You'll learn it that way.

Like I posted in the aimpoint thread itself, I didn't take the chart with me today but did find "straight" and putted very well on some tricky greens that I have only played twice before.  Knowing where straight is takes the guessing out of which way the putt breaks at the minimum.  Several times I made the putt or missed just "high" where everyone else was being totally fooled.   "HOW DOES IT BREAK THAT WAY???!!!!" they would shout.
