I really do not know, but as he said that, he demonstrated  a  palm movement that shows fingers being extended upwards, wrist cupping, then releasing going down, almost whimsical, limp wrist looking. For lack of a better word, I would say "wave". He was definitely referring to the hand movement as in a paint stroke. I guess its all a matter of interpretation of what you are viewing. As for the body turn and gravity, definitely!

You can use different shots from the same position - one is like a paint brush (the club face opening with the wrist movement) that drops against the ball on the forward pivot with the clubhead passing the shaft and the grip ending up near the left pants pocket.

The arms move along the belt line and stays close to the body. The grip doesn't move too much (in terms of back or forward), but the club head -- it does move.

Just because your wrists do something doesn't mean you're making them do it. My wrists and elbows collapse and fold in the follow-through - but I don't do anything to help them except let them.

i agree here, i like to feel like my hands really drop infront of my thighs and stay there as i rotate.

Now "that" explanation I can go along with. The thing I had problem with was in the video when he was demonstrating with his hand the brush stroke action. It just seemed exaggerated as he was demonstrating it. Again, vision perception. your explanations are much better.

I went out to the course today and just thought of letting the club fall naturally down to the ball sort of letting gravity just take over and the contact I made today was much more consistent. Thanks for the help guys

Yes, let it fall and use soft arms. It's similar to Stan Utley if you need more on youtube about the pivot. It's a center pivot.

had a chance to practice this technique for a few days now and noticed an improvement on pitches. I want to thank you again for your swing thought. "Drop into the slot" is working and requires less effort. Another thing that I changed that made a big difference was to stand a little closer. It felt awkward at first, but it sort of forces me to use my body more to square up at impact. After I get set up with a good stance, I line the edge of my hand along my zipper and place the butt of the club at the tip of my thumb or about a "fist" away from my thighs..

    • I have nothing to add other than I freaking love her swing and I think she's hot as hell and some of my golfing buddies disagree so I fought them
    • I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.
