Re: the best towel

Best towel is a clean one. Buying a golf towel= waste of money.

Re: the best towel

I just grab anything laying around in my laundry bin. Regualr old towel.

Re: the best towel

I bought the most expensive towel I could find as it guaranteed 4 strokes off my round. It didn't work but I think I was using it the wrong way.

Re: the best towel

I use a free Srixon towel I got from buying a dozen of their balls. I also carry an old towel that I wet down before my rounds to clean my wedges and grips.

Re: the best towel

I use an old Christmas-themed towel that my wife didn't need anymore. I can't imagine paying $8 for a towel with a brand name on it.

Re: the best towel

An old bath towel.......for me, it has to be big enough so I can wet half and keep the other half dry. I've carried the same one for more than 15 years, and it gets washed once a year whether it needs it or not!

Re: the best towel

regular white towel...nothing fancy or new...just throw it around my clubs, works fine.

I used to have a bridgestone golf towel but i lost it when I was playing in a tournament. It fell of my bag and never got it back.

Re: the best towel

I like my Tiger Woods towel because I like how it looks. Don't know what would constitute best though... other than the color. I like dark colors because it doesn't show the dirt so much and I'm too lazy to wash it more than once a year.

Re: the best towel

I use a Cavs towel that they gave out at the games. Its not like I am gonna bring it to a game and use it unless they give another, so this way i get some use and the towel is sporty.

Yeah, cleaning clubs with a dirty towel sounds like a great idea...

Re: the best towel

I play almost exclusively at 5:30 - 6:00 am so I pretty much clean my clubs every time I swing them. The towel is mostly just to take the loose grass off the clubface. I also use iron covers so that should really upset you.

Re: the best towel

The pro at the club had a big demo last year and I got free towels from everyone but I mainly use the mizuno one because its the biggest. All of them are tour towels so I use them all really.

Re: the best towel

I got three tour size towels of different brands which I rotate on. The best one is a Titleist towel, it's really fuzzy and easy to use. Use the towel on almost every shot, so it's an important part of my gear.

Re: the best towel

i have two
i use a Nike Tri-Fold (fairly small) that i keep hanging on the side of the bag behind my back
easy access, as I can grab it as i walk
this one i use for cleaning balls, clubs etc..

and i also have a Tenessee Volunteers one on the front side
this one is for wiping hands, head, face etc..

both towels cost me no more than $20 combined

I'd like to try that towel - do you have to yell something while wiping your club? Like Pow or ShamWow!

I borrowed my wifes brand new oversized Wilson Staff towel, but once I got to the course I couldn't bear to get it dirty. I used a cloth napkin from the clubhouse and my shirt.
