Celveland CG 15 (I think thats the new one) 56 degrees and I play 9* bounce, but my short game is quite good. Depending on your ball striking you should choose the right bounce for you.

Also the vokeys are very nice aswell.

Another vote for Vokey. To be honest, I haven't play any other popular wedge brands. I tried the Vokey and just fell in love with the feel and control they provide. I can't imagine it could get any better with another brand ---- for my game and preference.

If you have a gap or lob wedge with lower bounce, perhaps you should get a sand wedge with a higher bounce, say 14. That way you'll have your turf conditions/lie situations covered.

What I Play:

4 Wood: G15

Hy: Callaway FT 3Hy

Irons: AP1 4-PW

Wedges: Vokey 52* & 60*, Mizuno MP-T 10 58*

Putter: Newport Studio Select 2.7

Ball: Nike One Vapor

Those look nice! I would like to try some.

But Cleveland DSG wedges incorporate the same design theory. Dual Sole Grind, and they work too.

The Callaway X-Tours and X-Forged wedges are selling for $70 each at a couple of places.

Also, the Adams Tom Watson family of wedges has a 56* which sells for $50. Solid club, lots of people carry this model. Earlier (2008?)Watson wedge 3 Packs (GW, SW and LW for $99 total) are available if you find the right shop.

Loft would depend what your wedge mix is. If you want a balanced mix: 52 | 56 | 60 or 50 | 54 | 58.

54 or 56 as primary sand wedge, with the lob tool 58 or 60 if you have a waist-deep bunker to exit.

Or, your sand wedge may be your most lofted club (as in my case).

Also consider bounce angle of the clubhead. Most players make the SW their highest bounce club. See Ralph Maltby for details:

What are you looking for? An all purpose wedge for pitching, short chips, blasting from greenside bunkers?

I'm assuming you're looking for something to get you out of long rough and bunkers. Go to a flea market and keep your eye out for one of the following: - Cleveland 588 56 degrees - Wilson Sandy Andy - Wilson R90 - Ram Tom Watson 55 degree - Ben Hogan Sure Out

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

I will throw out something a little different. How about one that matches your set? I went this route when I switched to Pings last year. For me, it was one of the better moves that I made. I'm getting out of bunkers better, short game around the green has improved, and I no longer dread the 75 yarder. I think that it helped me because it gave me the same feel and look through out my set. I didn't need to make as many adjustments as I did when I had a completely diffrent sand wedge.

I got the Adams Tom Watson set (52, 56, 60) off eBay for $90 shipped. I love these wedges. I wish I could get a 48 to replace my PW from my Wilson irons set.

Match them to your set if your irons are from a manufacturer like PING, who also makes quality wedges.

Thanks guys for the info. I have Cobra FP II Irons, which are 4-GW. I believe the GW is 49.5 degrees. I have not really seen loose cobra wedges, so I'm not sure if I can match it to my set.
