Just a quick query as to how many holes in one people have had. I am sure some people on this forum have had 3 or more - it would be nice to hear some stories!

I didn't have a hole in 1, but did drop my second shot on a Par3 with a raised front edge. I knew I put the shot on the green, but couldn't find my ball. I was walking around the back side of the hole looking and let my buddy play his shot... he found my ball in the hole. I had no idea.

1....only took me 20 years to do it.

#11 at the Reserve South Course in the Portland, OR area. Slight cut on a 5 iron to a front right pin placement - 191 yds. Hit the green about 18 inches beyond the hole and spun back.

I was convinced that when it finally happened it would be with a 4 iron. I had lipped out 4 times and come an inch short - every time with a 4 iron. I guess a 5 iron is close enough.

Same with me. Closest I've ever come was a 175 yard par 3 and I was told by a ranger up by the green that my ball rolled over the hole, but... I was still 12 feet away. Not close enough for me to count as a near miss, since I didn't even see it.

Over 25 years of golfing for me and still no hole-in-one. I'm just waiting for the prize money to go up in those local benefit tournaments before getting my first ace.

Zero, but i came close 2 times on a par three and 2 times of a par 4. Recently yesterday, in which the divot from my driver was on the front edge of the green and the ball ended up behind the hole off the green. It had to had a serious look at the pin going by.

My closest, i hit the flag stick one time, and another the ball divot was about 1 foot from the pin and the ball was behind the cup, some 5 feet, not slow enough.

I have holed out from the fairway before for eagle a handful of times, and chipped in for eagle a few times.

1 Got a hole in one on this 110 yard hole with my 9-iron when I was 12. I was playing with my dad on an alternate shot tournament. And refused to ride in the cart for the next two holes because I couldn't keep from hopping around.

None here. I've been with in inches twice, but never went in.

My buddy had two hole in ones on the same hole on back to back rounds. It was pretty cool to witness back to back!

When I was 11, I had an ace. It was only the second time I ever went out to play. I was so new to the game, I still had a baseball grip. Anyway, I was playing at a par 3 course with my dad and we reached the fourth hole. It was only 85 yards. Without really thinking, I hit a five iron and barely carried a creek in front of the green. The ball then bounced a few times and rolled into the cup. I went crazy. I couldn't believe it. Then when I to retrieve the ball, my dad and I noticed my cousin and uncle on another tee that was adjacent to the fourth green. They witnessed the whole thing! Talk about small world.

Now fourteen years later - and with a vastly improved game - I haven't had another one since. Oh well.

A married couple that I golf with frequently have had two, both by her after only playing 3-4 years, and zero by him that has golfed almost 40 years; we get to tease him about it often.

I've left a couple within a foot, but never an ace.

The best I've done is hole out for eagle with a SW from about 90 a few years ago. Followed it up with a 10 on the next hole. Shot 98 for the day. Good thing I had that 2 on the card!!

None yet in 10 years of playing. Ironically, the closest I ever came was this past Saturday in a tournament. 112 yards to the pin against a 10 mph wind. Punched a PW to about 10 inches. Won the closest to the pin (which was a dozen Pro-V1x's).
