Anyone recommend a 19* Hybrid with a high launch angle? I like my Cleveland Hibore but I want to pick up another Hybrid with a bit higher launch angle so they can be switched out when needed on different courses. Any suggestions?

I have an Idea Pro (older model), love it. Goes about 210-220yds for me and lands soft. I found it for $40 used at GolfSmith. Someone had cut it down 1" (compared to specs), but I like the length, same as my 4-iron, but goes about 15yds farther and lands softer.

another vote for the TM Raylor
i have the 22º as a replacement for my 3i and it is pretty high...even w the VooDoo shaft, which is low launch
it sits nice on long par 3's or in coming to Par 5's in two

and it can be had relatively cheap too - picked mine up used in 9 / 10 condition for $85USD shipped

i was a hybrid hater until i put this in the bag

I'd suggest the Adams a4 Idea Boxer. Unfortunately, I haven't done much by way of side-by-side comparisons with other hybrids, but it feels like it's a decently high launcher. The 3h is 19*.

Take a look at the Ping K15 hybrids also - they're definitely a high-launch hybrid.

another vote for the TM Raylor

I finally bought a 19* Raylor on Wednesday as a replacement for my 5W. In comparison test in October, 5W was about 10 yards longer, but Raylor had much tighter shot pattern.

Tried Raylor at range and for 9 holes later that day: ball jumps up nicely on impact, but doesn't balloon at top - really good carry. Remaining Raylors are selling out fast: New ones can be had for $99, if you can find one.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Haven't hit enough different hybrids to say definitively whether mine is relatively high launch, but I love my Titleist 585h 19˚. If I don't deloft it at all it has a pretty high launch angle and lands quite softly for a 19˚ club.

Recently purchased the Cobra Baffler Rail hybrid in 17*. I got this replace my Ping Rapture in 18*. In REALLY like this club! It's more forgiving on off center hits (which I'm prone to) and the sound is much better than the Ping. I did enjoy the Ping I just much prefer the Cobra.

Another +1 on the Adams Super Hybrid. Picked up a used 15* with a Matrix Altus shaft and cracked the very first shot 220 yards (straight) with not that much effort. Confidence club for sure. The sound and feel really are pleasing to the senses

Highly Recommended!

try the walter hagen aws hybrid. i know they aren't that popular, but they are very nice. they have a graffalloy pro launch shaft and are very easy to get up in the air. plus, they are buy 1 get 2 free at dicks.

Anyone use the Adams A7? (What are the shot characteristics)

I have looked at the A7 but havent gotten a chance to hit it yet. I like the Raylor but i seem to rock the club to the heel which seems to be alil dangerous.
