Just picked up the older 4.5 version of this putter and I must say, I've always been attracted to the anser style head but the slant neck works a little better with my eye at address.

Anyone play one of these putters? I think they're great for the price, I picked mine up for 70 at Golfsmith..

Ive got a standard Cleveland Classic 2 and I like it.  Its a great putter for the price.  If you didnt know better you could easily think they they cost 2-3x what they really do.  Until Mizuno makes the MP Craft putters available in the U.S., I dont see the CC2 leaving my bag.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

I was blown away by my CC2 (I like that acronym) when I got it. Distance control is unmatched. The shaft is too flexible and the head is a bit too toe heavy though. Until I decide whether to put on some lead tape or a heavier grip, it's in my bag o' spares and I use my wife's Odyssey WH#7 (used to be mine - she had it in her bag for ~ 7 years). I replaced her Odyssey with a Ray Cook Billy Baroo mid mallet (#4 or something) that is really nicely balanced, but the shaft is too short for me.

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

I have the CC4 and I love it, but I would like to have a CC2 in the black finish too, as a gamer or back up. They are great putters and at a great price.

I swear by my Cleveland Classic blade 1 putter. Looks great, and feels great, and the price ($70) is more than right.

EDIT: Looks like I've been out of the loop for a while; I didn't realize Cleveland released a new line of these putters. Even still, at $80, the price is great.

I bought mine mostly because I love the style of it.  Ive got an old Mizuno 0802 that is very similar but doesnt have the face milling that the CC2 has.  Im perfectly happy with my CC2.  Ive played Camerons, Odysseys, Kia Mas, Bettinardis and T.P. Mills putters and honestly, these Cleveland putters are right there with all of those putters.

Now, before all you Cameron fans get all bent out of shape, I said the CCs were RIGHT THERE, not that they were better.

If you posess a discriminating taste for putters, and in particular Cleveland models, check out the new Never Compromise (owned by Cleveland) Gambler limited edition putters. I noticed Steve Marino

using one this past weekend at The Palmer Invite.

Hard to get these babies. I'm looking for a the classic blade model Flush. Any leads?

Putters = 57 and counting

I tried one of the bronze, Anser-style putters. Liked it okay. Seems like a good club for the price.

I found a lot of great review of the CC, and always wanted to have one. When the chance arrived, I got a CC1 for EUR 40,- at the bay, added a cheap (2,50) karma mid-size putting grip, and to me, it's one of the best putters, I've ever played with.

When I find a cheap 4.5, I think I'll add that to my collection :)
