Tiger Woods The Masters Video Game ruined my swing.

Damn this game.

Last week I was playing this game and finally got the chance to play the Augusta course for The Masters championship...

Well I stayed up all night and won The Masters; however, the next day I played 18 and shot a 118!

Keep in mind I have consistently been shooting in the 100-105 range the past couple of months.

I played again yesterday and shot a 116.

I think the PS Move may have ruined my swing.

Interesting hypothesis.

Lack of sleep can hurt your game for sure.

It wasn't playing a game, it was staying up all night that ruined your golf.  Been there, done that.

This isn't the first time I've heard of peoples real life swing going in the toilet after playing a lot sim golf. I assume your playing with a Wii remote or something similar? I can see how you might groove a lot of bad habits that way.

I wouldn't be surprised. I have to force myself not to ever play the Tiger Woods wii game, or at least just swing with only my wrist because of this. If you actually pretend to swing, you groove in sloppy habits.

Yup, I agree. My daughter wanted TW for the Wii, I bought it, played it, got hooked on it, added 10 strokes to my average round over the past 6 weeks. Not playing it anymore. I shot my best round in over a month today becuase everytime I stepped up to the ball I did each individual step the way my pro taught me that I "thought" had ingrained in my memory already.

Of course I usually have 34-35 putts and today I had 41 so my score was still too high BUT at least it was for a new reason. No more TW for me.

That's why I play it on Xbox360 without Kinect....but lack of sleep would be a bad thing for golf swings.
