Best golf gps I should use

To be honest ,I downloaded and use Skydroid . I use it most every round and it is worth every penny I paid for it  ($1.99 )

I think it depends on what you want from the GPS, if you want something simple and only want front/back/middle of the green or something more complex with hazards and bunkers and stuff.  Garmin makes GPS that fits both kinds, I personally use and like the SkyCaddie but it is fee based.

I love my skycaddie SG5.  I have only tried one other app on my phone and it was OK, not sure of the name though.  Wasn't in love with it being on my phone, because one round it took us almost 5 and a half hours and using my phone for GPS a lot the phone battery died.  I bought the skycaddie because I play in tournaments that don't allow you to use your cell phone so its worked great for me.

If you have a smart phone and you want to go the free route there are plenty of free apps you can download.  I personally use Golf Logix and love it.  You can purchase it for about $30 a season and get additional features if you please.

I've been happy with my ESN GPS Watch.  I don't need a GPS all the time, but when course markers aren't handy and when I'm pitching into the green, a gps is helpful. My only complaint is that the ESN GPS watch is limited to only 2 hazards per hole so periodically I won't have distance to hazards that I wish I had.  Other than that, I like having it on my wrist "at the ready". 

i luv my GolfBuddy.  It does the job and u dont have to pay any yearly fees...

I've been using ninja golf on my android.  It gives front middle and back of the green and will easily measure the distance of your shot.  It also allows you to edit the course data to add additional points, like distances to traps, or carries over water hazards.  Best of all, it is free.  And if your course isn't on their database you can easily mark it yourself is less than half an hour.

Tell me more about 'GolfBuddy'.  I played last week and one person had the device hooked on her trolley. What a good deal.  Unlike the laser distance finders, there is no fooling around searching for the flagstick through the eyepiece, no time spent holding the laser steady in the wind, etc. The GolfBuddy seemed ideal to me then. Now who can offer more first hand comments, esp whether it is useful on all courses, in the rain, and most importantly,  What does it Cost?  thanks.
