Taylormade Burner 2.0 Iron set questions

I'm thinking about investing in new clubs after 8+ years with my old clubs. I did a lot of research and I think I'm pretty confident in buying the Taylormade Burner 2.0 iron set. I was curious about a few things...

What is the difference between the "Superfast 85 Steel" and the regular "85 steel"? Which one should I go with?

If it helps, I plan on buying these clubs with stiff flex. I was told to do so after my swing speed was averaging 80-85 mph.

Anything else I should know before pulling the trigger?

maybe putter speed

85 even for mid irons doesn't sound like it warrants a stiff shaft - does it?

Are the 85 steel and superfast 85 steel the same thing with one name as shorthand? I cannot find any info on a "85 steel" shaft that is not called "superfast."

Looks like used club places like eBay are your best bet.

85 SS for a 7-iron sounds like it could be stiff shaft in a lightweight high-launch shaft. "stiff, regular" and other terms vary by manufacturer, design, and model.

My SS is between 78-82 mph with a 6 iron and I play regular flex. I would suggest having a fitting to find out which flex is right for you. I must admit it was a blow to my ego to find out I hit better shots with a regular flex than a stiff flex, and it's been said that a lot of people play with a shaft that is too stiff. That was certainly the case with me, but I can't argue with the results. I also discovered most people don't care what flex you are using, they are too busy messing with their own game to pay attention. I don't know if you have access to any golf stores in your area, if so I would suggest going in and pay for an iron fitting. Most places I know will waive this fee if you purchase from them, but if you decide to purchase somewhere else then they still made some $$ and you will have the peace of mind knowing your buying the correct flex. Sorry, I can't speak to the differences between the Taylormade shafts you asked about.

90% of people who use stiff shafts shouldn't be... I used to use them, when I bought my new irons, I tried both shafts, both went straight, regular went 10-15 yards further. Regarding the Burner 2.0, good irons, would recommend.
