What degree wedges should I get?

I have a set of Callaway X-hot iorns and im looking to up grade my wedges, what are good degree wedges to get for a gap,sand,lob, and pitching wedges?

I'm assuming you bought the XHot pitching wedge

You could go

50, 56,62

49, 54, 59

48, 54, 60

First you should know the distances you hit.

That you can find the best lofts to suite your game.

Also look into the bounce of the wedges. and how you would use the wedges.

Dirver: Mizuno JPX 825 9,5 Fujikura Orochi Red Eye Stiff 65 g.
3 wood: Mizuno JPX 825 14 Fujikura Orochi Red Eye Stiff 75 g.
Hybrid: Mizuno JPX 825 18 Fujikura Orochi Red Eye Stiff 85 g. 
Irons: Mizuno MP 59 3 / PW KBS Tour stiff shaft ( Golf Pride Niion )
Wedges: Taylormade ATV Wedges 52 and 58 ( Golf Pride Niion )
putter: Taylormade ghost series 770 35 inch ( Super Stroke slim 3.0 )
Balls: Taylormade TP 5

In addition, @mvmac is a scratch golfer, so the 60 and 62 are ok for him but a little harder for the rest of us.  I would recommend having the highest loft at 58 and either get one or two wedges in between your PW and the 58.  I play PW (47), 52-14 and 58-12.  the 52 and 58 are Vokeys.

In addition, @mvmac is a scratch golfer, so the 60 and 62 are ok for him but a little harder for the rest of us.  I would recommend having the highest loft at 58 and either get one or two wedges in between your PW and the 58.  I play PW (47), 52-14 and 58-12.  the 52 and 58 are Vokeys.

Or if he wants 3 wedges, 50,54,58 would work well.

I agree, most people would be better off staying away from a 60* wedge.

I recommend you not get caught up in lofts as much as playability and being able to hit the type of shots you want, and make sure you don't have big gaps in the full swing. I'd also stick with the PW and possibly GW from your set depending on how you use the different wedges. Those 2 are important to hit well on full shots more than the others so I like the ones from my iron set, plus they're usually way cheaper. The sand and lob wedges are the ones with which I usually play different shots so I like a good sole grind that's more versatile than an iron sole, even though they can be worse on full shots.
