My First Ace!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I love reading the forums and absorbing all the great knowledge offered by other members.

Been playing for 10 years, started taking the game seriously last year.

Yesterday on a 187 yard par 3, pin positioned middle green, with a decent tail wind, I pure'd a 6 iron and landed on the front of green. It tracked towards the hole and then I lost site of it. My two playing partners said "that went in"

I wouldn't not believe it until I walked (ran) to the hole and saw for myself. First ever ace! I'm still on cloud 9 today :-)
