I just finished a fat, rare, ribeye with roasted-potato salad, gazpacho, and a particularly nice Argentine Malbec.

All of which were fully glutenized. :-)

Warm up was vodka soda with a dose of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit. Then it was time for a big slab of salmon that marinaded for 3 hours in a brown sugar, soya sauce, hoisin and sesame oil mixture before getting slapped on screaming hot weber grill. With veggie kabobs and quinoa mixed with toasted sesame and pumpkin seeds. Chased down with a nice Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Ripasso.

Dee-Lish!

Sahifa - Syrian meat pie as defined in Wikipedia. Kind of like a Mediterranean pizza sans the cheese and tomato sauce. Whatever the definitions it's damn good eating.

In the midst of my first attempt at making pizza dough out of cauliflower. Consistency of the dough seemed pretty good, smells ****ing awesome as it pre-bakes right now. I found a recipe for using thawed frozen cauliflower that cuts way down on the required effort. Fingers crossed for a low carb pizza solution.

If it rocks I'll post the recipe.

I loved the commercial (I can see why many people don't though) so I tried a pint of Halo Top. Considering a pint of ice cream can be up to 1,000 calories and Halo Top is only 320 (assuming that's accurate), it tastes pretty good.

EAT THE ICE CREAM!!! EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE ARE DEAD!!!
