What's your favorite drink? Your favorite beer?

Mine is an amaretto/chocolate milk mix. Or an amaretto sour. Or something with amaretto.

For beers, I've got only three that I'll drink: Guinness, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, or Killian's Irish Red.

I'm not a big fan of beer, but when I do drink it I prefer Bud Light.

My favorite drinks would be: Sour Apple Martini, Pina Colada, and Bailey's and Coffee.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.

Personally, if I'm drinking to drink, it's Guinness. Just not out of the can; after they put in the little rocket-thingy in the bottles, the cans just taste metallic. Sam Adams is good, Boddingtons, Harp, Bass. For a lighter beer, and especially when I'm in Antwerp, it's Hoegaarden with a little lemon. Or Jack on the rocks, when it's time to act like an adult and drink ...

A sour apple martini? Well aren't you Mister GQ? Or Miss Cosmo, I'm not sure which...

Haha. I'm a lightweight. I once got drunk (yes, literally plastered) off of one Bud Light and two Mike's Hard Lemonades. Had to have someone drive me home.

As far as a label, I prefer "refined." :)

So many favorite beers it would be hard to name just one.

Guinness Draught and Extra Stout, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Becks Dark, Bass pale ale, and Shiner Bock are some of my favorites.

Interestingly enough, I had my first opportunity to try that Shiner Bock over Thanksgiving weekend when I was in Atlanta. We were at Dave & Busters and they didn't have Amberbock (my beer of choice) and the Shiner Bock was a very nice alternative. Ended up putting 3-4 of them back during our couple hours of pool.

Hmm, I have never tried Amberbock. I'm going to give it a shot. Shiner is the only bock I have had only because they are a Texas brewery. A restaurant here used to have schooners of Shiner for $2 and I got hooked quickly.

I had a great amber in Portland, OR a while back. Man I wish I could remember what it was called. It was in this great little pub with vines covering the front. In fact we got two free pints and free pizza that night. Ah the beauty of it!

I'm on a Jack (or Makers Mark) and Coke fix as of recently. Well, any whiskey really. Used to drink Tom Collins.

My Dad's fiance quit drinking so I inherited a couple cases of merlot. So I have a glass or two a night.

Beer, I could do without, but when I drink it, I like something light. Asahi Super Dry and Miller High Life are my favorites. And to contradict myself Negro Modello is really good too.

Sour apple martinis huh? I used to drink those like crazy when I first started with the liquor at 23. I cringe at those days. They are tasty though!

How about the alcohol that absolutely kills everyone?

In my case, keep my AWAY from tequila. That stuff is nothing but badness!

Ugh. I long ago gave up drinking caffeine on the golf course, and within the past year I've basically given up on it completely. I was a

hard-core Coke addict, but I read enough about how it can lead to diabetes and shit that I gave it up, cold-turkey. These days for my non-milk, non-water, non-alcoholic drinks, I drink flavored sparkling water stuff from Wal-Mart. $0.50 for a 1L bottle. The Black Cherry is very, very good. No caffeine, no calories, no sodium. Lots of flavor.

I'm a margaruita freak! As far as beer....i'll drink most anything as long as its cold. I much prefer a dark beer and theres just too many to name. I'm one of those "as long as its free and cold, i'll drink most anything, kinda easy to get along with, equal opportunity, golf drinkers". phew!

Juices. I love juice. Orange, pineapple, orange/pineapple, grape, guava. Welch's makes some good mixes.

As far as the hard stuff goes. Jack and Coke is my drink of choice these days. I also like wine, merlots.

I'm not a big alcohol guy personally, but I did have some wild days in college. When I drink now, I just prefer to take a few shots of Goldslager and be done with it.

My favorite thing to drink is a good cold class of sweet tea. In Oklahoma, that is as good as wine my friends. I am seriously addicted to sweet tea, but that's ok.

When I did drink a lot in college, I liked to drink Parrot Bay and Pepsi.

    • Not really, no. I don't know the history, what you've worked on, what you've tried and moved away from… etc.
    • Day 9: 2/16/25 Putting through 50 mm gates from 11”. Swing pressure shift drills.
    • Definitely not a favorite… For some reason my wife and I started watching Cobra Kai. I know the original was pretty cheesy, but the inability of these people to get over shit that happened like 30 years ago is astounding. And these kids would be arrested, but they don’t even seem to get suspended from school. Would Danny not notice that Johnny’s son looks like Johnny? Etc.? Why would a completely different dojo that has the same name be “banned”? Oy. Not sure we’ll make it to season 2.
    • Day 139 - 2025-02-16 Weather led to a rescheduled GEARS lesson, so I used the time to work on my swing for 60 minutes or so. All downswing stuff. Some swings at 93 MPH. Most around 75-80.
    • A question I have is…this swing (fade, pull cut) does not  feel as good and easily repeatable as the draw swing we were working on previously.  I’m kinda in a weird spot where I do not know which direction will be the best to pursue. I like seeing a penetrating 5 yard draw but also like the thought of the fade not getting away from me as much.    Any thoughts on that?
