Hey folks! Greetings from Tennessee.

I just got into the game of golf recently after graduating college, and this will be my first year of playing seriously. Needless to say I'm not very good at the moment, but getting out to the driving range or course and seeing how I can improve my game and seeing progress little by little has gotten me really enamored with the sport. I've really been having a blast with it. I don't have a ton of folks in my area to play with so it's usually just me solo or with my dad, so I figured it would be a good idea to get involved with the online community for tips on how to improve or just to hang and chat.

Since I'm still trying to develop my game, I don't really have much to tell you about my strengths or weaknesses except that I'm strangely good with a pitching wedge in my hands, hence the username. Hopefully I can get the rest of the clubs up to snuff as well, haha.

Welcome to TST.   You'll find there is a lot of great information here which will help your game.   It's great to golf with your dad but don't hesitate to pair up with strangers.   It's a great way to meet people and make friends.
