Good evening, ya’all.  Just found the forum and I’d like to hang out and pick up some tips.  I’m not a big “poster”, but I read a LOT.  A bit about me, 67 yrs old, just retired, Registered Nurse for a major telecommunications company.  Played a LOT of golf in my 20 - 30;s then life got in the way.  Now that I have TIME, I’m anxious to get back into the game.  I’ve taken a couple of lessons and I’m becoming a certified “Range Rat.”. I know I have to get out on the course and play and I’m beginning to do more of that.  Also realizing that my 67 year old body is as flexible as it was 40 years ago, lol.

I’ve got lots of bad habits to unlearn, but I’m willing to try.  I just don’t want to totally embarrass myself and get through 18 holes without having to buy more sleeves of balls at the turn.

Thanks for letting me in!

Welcome to TST..

My non golfing brother was a life long Texan, except when he traveled for work. While visiting him, I think I golfed most of the courses around the Ft Worth area.

Lots of good info on this forum. You will have fun here.

Yup! I'm 73 and probably exercise more now than age 40, though the exercises are different. Good golfers will welcome you just as they did me, with patience, tolerance and hope. Best, -Marv
