These balls are long. About 10 yards longer with the driver and go straighter with less fade which is my typical ball flight which are exactly what I wanted. My problem is that they tend to bounce too much on the greens. When I hit short irons with Kirkland Signature balls or other soft balls they spin back about 1 foot or only roll forward 1 or 2 feet when hit the greens. With the Titleist Velocity balls they roll forward 4 to 20 feet during my last round. I kinda expect this with low spin balls but this is a little more that what I had hope for. I will not buy again.

Irons: 0.5 inch short and 2* Flat Mavrik 5 to AW (AW-105, PW-120, 9-135, 8-145) The lofts for these clubs are about 3* to 5* stronger  than standard.

Wedges: Mizuno MP-R series 52* and 56*. (80, 60)

Nickent: 4DX 2 hybrid 17* and 4 hybrid 23* (185 and 170 carry)

3 Wood: Tour Edge XGC 13* (195 carry)

Driver: Callaway FT IZ Driver 9* (210 carry, ~230 total)

I don’t bite greens much either. Just some peas and green beans now and then. Cucumbers maybe.

Isn’t the ‘low spin’ pertaining to the inner core as far as a smashed hit as with driver and not with a descending hit with grooves as from an iron?

So I am seeing Titleist Velocity balls referred to as the 2020 model.  I don’t see any reference to a 2021 model on the Titleist website.  So does anyone know if either the Velocity will be discontinued when the supply runs out or whether there is a different 2021 model in the works?

SOmetimes I play with a guy who loves Titleist Velocity balls, and he's mentioned that he thinks they are being discontinued so he has hoarded a bunch of them. I don' know if he knows this or just thinks that is what's happening.

Aren't Velocity balls refreshed on even numbered years 2016, 2018, 2020, ... While the ProV1 line is odd numbered years?

Even when not looking for balls, I find quite a few Velocity's lost in the woods. Must be a good seller.
