  1. 1. Do you have a club you use 90+% of the time around the green?

I said yes even though after reading everyone else, 90 percent is a lot but I’m prob close with my 54*. I struggled having the same touch with my set wedges that I have with my vokey. Use it for basically everything inside 75 yds besides bunkers and short sided shots from rough (that’s the 60). If I’m on a real tight fairway lie close to the green I’ll putt with a hybrid but the 54 is used at least 80 percent. Now that 60ish yd range I’ve actually been experimenting with some pelz clock method swings with my set wedges because my full swing with the 54 is good and the half swing from 50 yds is money but I tend to skull the 3/4 swing from 60-65 yds. But anyway, inside 50 yards it’s 54 degree S grind all day. Versatile grind, am comfortable manipulating ball position/face enough thanks to practicing in my yard all during quarantine.

Driver: Callaway Mavrik 10*

Wood: Callaway Epic Flash 17*

Hybrid: Callaway Mavrik 20*

Irons: Callaway Rogue X 5i-GW

Wedges: Vokey SM8 54*S and 58*K

Putter: Ping Prime Tyne 4

I also use my 54 S grind around the greens and find it perfectly capable of hitting any shot from 30 and in. I am coming off the M grind and its got a hair more bounce and a little friendlier on softer lies. I use the 58 out of the bunkers and from 50-90 out. Chipping is 54 but I will go 50 for uphill and 58 for quick up and downs.

I don't have a favorite club for short game, but I do prefer to chip and let the ball run as opposed to throwing the ball up in air (pitch) and trying to drop it softly.  So I am probably using and 7-9 irons more than the wedges for short game.  But I try to let the situation dictate what I do and what club i used to do it with.

This is pretty much my approach. I find I'll chip with anything from LW to 7 iron. I also like to get the ball rolling as much as possible instead of flying and trying to stop it.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.
