Mark Hubbard, through 35 holes at the American Express, had taken 56 putts with his two hands on the grip of his putter. He took his 57th very differently.

I guess when you KNOW you're missing the cut, might as well try something new.  But was putting really his problem?  Averaging 29 putts per 18 holes isn't awful in itself, but its possible he hadn't made anything over a couple feet.
