Anyone remember Feel Golf--i heard they have some great wedges but ive never ever seen one in person...Also Yes Golf---they have some fantastic putters that have tour prescence

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

Dont forget Sonartec, some of the best fairway woods on the market. They make some great wedges also. If you have not hit these before, you should give them a chance.

These days?

Wilson Staff.

Old-school brand that was "IT" back in the day.

If you've been playing the game for 15 years or less you probably don't know how "cool" it was to have Wilson Staff clubs in the bag.

Nice to see Paddy win.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Titleist clubs are over-rated. I'm not saying they're junk...just overrated. I realize that their target consumer is the "player" but their club models are typically 1-2 years behind in technology and even inside their niche, I think they're clearly behind Mizuno and TaylorMade.

I expect that some will disagree with me. Again, I'm not saying Titleist clubs are lousy. I'm just saying they're not as good as their image implies.

Lastly, they make a super sweet ball. That's undisputed.

in australia mizuno is soo underated. i reckon their irons look so awesome and yet hardly any golf shops sell their stuff. in fact most shops only sell taylormade, callaway and ping majorly. unless you go to golf club pros and get fitted you can very rarely find titleist and mizuno, and nickent basically have no presence in australia.

How about Bobby Jones? I don't see them listed in many sigs in this forum, and I don't see a ton of them out on the courses I play. It's also probably worth mentioning that the big box golf stores near me (Dick's and GolfGalaxy) don't carry the brand.

Jesse Ortiz practically made Orlimar, and the clubs he's making under the Jones brand are fantastic. I had a chance to hit the new workshop driver, as well as the fairway woods and hybrids over the weekend, and I've giving serious thought to adding one or two in my bag.

Easy to hit, great feel, and slightly less expensive than most. Lack of custom shaft options are a bummer, but everything else about the clubs is stellar.

I saw the infomercial on the golf channel. They look like awesome clubs, where can I test hit some? I think that's the problem with some companies. They're not mass produced and sitting on the shelf of every large sp. goods store or pro shop. At least I'm assuming that this is the problem/situation with this particular brand. I may buy off of Ebay, or a "site", but I try to hit the club locally first. As far as the thread topic: I would say Adams are under-rated. They make some of the easiest clubs to hit as far as I'm concerned. Now, my bag isn't filled with Adams. . .I have a Redline 460 Dual Driver. I will pay less for a really great set of component clubs with awesome shafts and grips, before I pay pro shop or big retail prices. . .most of the time!

    • Day 3 (11 Mar 26) - midweek round with friends.  Good session with an 83 (38 / 45).  Got some great up and down pars (6 of 9) with a total 27 putts.  Made for a relaxed round.
    • Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.
    • This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score
    • Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.
