Like the title says, what's your favorite - teeing off, fairway/approach shots, pitching/chipping or putting? And while we're at it, what's your least favorite?

Definatly approach shots for me Snake,If you get them right the chipping pitching putting bit seems to take care of itself.

As long as your drive is not to wayward of course!

i love the approach shots, they are the most challenging and you are in a different scenario every time. You have a variety of irons to choose from and when you hit it well and its headed for the green, you just get to stand there still in your finishing position waiting for that ball to touch down. its the best feeling in the world.

Pitching/Chipping is my least favorite.

To me its just really boring and its all about touch. You cant really put any power into it. It seems to feel the same everytime.

My favorite part of the game is just being out in a quiet area enjoying the game itself. My least favorite is fixing ball marks for the inconsiderate people who screw up the course.

Favourite = the entire game. Serious. The game itself and the social side of it.

Least favourite = 3 off the tee

If I didn't love the game as much I would have chucked it in a long time ago. I've had some absolute horror rounds over the years that have left me close to tears, but I still look forward to the next game to make the bad points right.

i enjoy every shot, but the ones really enjoy are long iron approach shots. i love those shots, making good powerful contact with a nice healthy divot and just putting a nice high draw from 180-220 out and landing it softly on the green. Mmm, those feel the best. but really, every shot i take is a different challenge and i enjoy every one.

Putting because you always have the chance to get excited

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

Approach shots! There is nothing better then throwing a dart close for a birdie putt.

I just learned to execute a proper flop shot, so I've been working on that a lot lately. Which makes it my fav for now.

The approach shots are my favorite, too. Just the anticipation of what might happen when the ball is screaming towards the green. And when it comes down where you want it is an awesome feeling. The short and putting part of game i practice so much it is instinct now..i dont really get a huge thrill out of making a putt or hitting a good chip because ive done it a million times before..

I get into trouble off the tee; I always try to over swing, and if I start thinking "Just swing easy," I slow down my body turn and hit a nasty pull. I feel more anxiety over a tee shot than anywhere else.

I enjoy pitching/chipping, but if I'm doing that, it means I've already missed the green.

Putting I'm just not very good at. If I average 2 putts per hole, it's a good day.

If I'm hitting an approach from the fairway, it means I've already done something right (hitting the fairway), and I've got a chance to make a par or bogey at worst with any kind of a decent shot, and on those rare occasions maybe even a birdie.

My favorite part of the game is seeing the ball drop into the hole. Since 99% of the time I'm holding my putter when this happens, I have to say that is my favorite.

I definitely agree with the excitement of watching an approach shot flying right at the stick. However, you can't exactly do your happy dance when your shot comes to rest 10 feet from the hole because you still have an important putt coming up. A 2 putt from 10 feet counts the same as a 2 putt from 50 feet.

Putting, with chipping being a close second.

It is my favorite because I love the ball going in the hole. It happens more with putting than with chipping, but I get more high fives when I chip in.
