I do not know how you guys do this.  I had 1st & last on second try and still took to my 4th word.

A bit of luck. And a bit of trying to eliminate some other letters. When your first word has two vowels, and your second word has two more… all it takes is getting luck with the fifth letter.

Also, I've been playing hard mode for a few months now without actually turning ON hard mode. I just play it enforcing the same rules.

I play Hard mode, and Iacas does in principle.  I think we are using the same starting word.  Once I had the first and last, there were only 4 words that I could think of that would work. Got lucky with the 2nd pick!

I've only recently started using that word. I liked it today, but I didn't the first three or four days.
