Hello From a Long Time Lurker in Europe

I've been lurking a lot of posts by @iacas and @mvmac on some morad threads trying to get as much information as i can.

I'm about to become an M.D in a year and a half and currently competing for my national team so really eager to keep improving my golf before real life takes over haha. 

been playing since 2013, took a 3 year break at the beginning of medical school and got back to it and straight away went down a rabbit hole of tgm, morad, s&t and got too obsessed with perfecting the golf swing that i forgot how to play golf. i got my swing to an ok place then learned how to play golf and got on the national team, but here i am again back down the rabbit hole trying to get the swing better.

Anyways, hope to learn a lot from this place.

really hope so, struggling on settling on what specialty to choose. my top choices will most likely allow very little golf in my future haha. we'll see how it pans out, how'd it work out for you?

Any field you choose will eventually allow you to have time for golf. They all will cause a limitation in the beginning. For me, it’s best not to hear my overall thoughts on medicine…haha. But power to ya brother!😃

One of my golfing buddies is a heart surgeon.  Great guy.  But when we play on Sunday there's always the chance he'll be called in on an emergency.  He's had to leave the course in a hurry before.

But he's got great clubs, great house, great car and plays a lot of golf in Arizona.
