you should request a section for different areas. ( ex: west,east,north,south,mid) so that people can post in their area and possibly set up group meet.

This worked on a mx site I used to go on. It made it easier to get a group together and go riding, or play golf in this case.

Lexington / Columbia SC here. Im always up for meeting some new golf partners. I can play just about anytime in around my area, but could sometimes get away to play in other parts of the state.
