I am going to splash out for a new putter, a bit but not Scotty or Redwood money.

I think i have narrowed it down to 4 or 5 putters
They are:

Yes Tracy £99.99
Nike Unitized Tiempo £99.99
Gel Ruby £99.99
Betinardi original one £129.99
Ping Karsten Anser £59.99

What would you go for?

In that price range you might also want to try out the Odyssey White Hot XG insert putters too, they're really nice.

Out of your list I would go with the Yes! Tracy, I don't think I've ever seen a negative review of them. Try them all out though

Karsten series. I think they are the best value in golf equipment, at the momment.

i preferred the Anser 2 to the Anser though i voted Anser.- but you can't go wrong at that price for a Ping putter!

You could flip a coin - Heads=Yes Tracy and Tails=Ping Anser either of those are great putters. I wouldnt consider them "cheapish" though just because you dont need a second mortgage to buy one.

I was in the market for a new putter a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking of the Rife line I see on TV all the time. Then one night before league my proshop had a YES Tracy II instock. I had heard about them but have never seen on in person. I tried it out,and within 3 strokes I new I wanted it. The groves really make the ball roll alot easier and its very noticeable. I love it,worth every cent.

If I were you I would go with the yes. I think they are great, even though the ping is a great value. In the long run I think you would be better with the yes putter.

why just not buy a Billy Baroo by Ray Cook? Super inexpensive and super awesome.

I voted for the Betti. I love them, gonna snag one sometime.
The Anser, certainly a great, great putter for the $.
One that really shocked me was the TaylorMade ones, those felt really nice in the store actually.
