Game over, Tiger wins!

I'm not even a huge fan, but that eagle gave me serious goosebumps. Wow! What a freakin putt. I'll be pretty suprised if Tiger loses this one.

I have been liking Rocco since yesterday (I love his attitude and his reactions after awesome putts for birdies and to save par) but Tiger's 2-iron scramble and that eagle putt just gave me the goosebumps too..... That's going to be in the highlight reel for years and years!

It was so good they had to show him writing it on his scorecard.

2 iron? I doubt he was playing a 2 iron from 208 yards downwind.

Wow. Talk about one hell of a putt! I'd say Tiger definitely needed that, although his follow-up drive didn't look too pretty.

Yeah, not a 2-iron.

Game over, Tiger wins!

I'm going to have to call Cody. Someone's taken over his screen name and is posting positive things about Tiger Woods.

Besides, Tiger just dumped it into the bunker on 14. Bad shot. And Westwood's in the bunker on 15. Blah. Rocco really loves his putter. I wouldn't count on him falling apart with the putter (Appleby style) tomorrow.

Shoot I never should have doubted Tiger. I pretty much heard that roar from my house. Hes hackin up the 14th but that eagle was something else.

Rocco Mediate is doing great for a short hitter and a guy who hasnt won recently.

And a recent update- Phil is letting groups play through and is still trying to get up the hill on the 13th.. . Man thats too bad. I love the guy, but man, did he lose it on that back nine.

Well, that's the difference between Tiger and Rocco. Tiger eagles thirteen and Rocco bogeys. Big swing. We've seen it so many times before - Tiger lights up the world with an other-worldly shot, and others quiver.

Tiger matched the bogey though with two pretty lame shots (tee, second) on 14. And Rocco made a good sized par putt on 14.

16 is playing tough today, 17's no bargain, and 18 should - SHOULD - be a birdie. But probably for Rocco too. Westwood just made a great par save on the 17th (I'm giving him the four-footer for par).

the corporate sponsors and media folks got to be pulling their hairs out with two of the dumpiest looking golfers in the lead. you got middle-aged mediate who hits little dinks off the tee and westwood who has a serious pudge factor to his look. and then there's jimenez who looks like he would be more comfortable at the 40th reunion of woodstock 69'. tiger is there so they can't be completely dismayed and villegas is lurking but they know the ratings are fueled by those young guns who blast the ball a mile.

Westwood's lost a good bit of weight. And Rocco isn't leading anymore.

Don't need to worry about Mediate any more, for now

I wouldn't count on Villegas doing anything

Two eagles in the final six holes, both dead center of the cup, and Tiger Woods leads going into the final round.

A round that looked like a 74 becomes a 70. Will Tiger go 14 for 14?

Definitely looking forward to tomorrow. Can't wait to see what Tiger can do. I'm kind of disappointed though, because I missed his eagle on 13.

Inconceivable!

I really wonder about what his knee is going through. Is he risking any permanent damage? I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.
    • Day 123 12-13 Rotation and getting to lead side work. Recorded face on. Hit a few foam balls but did plenty of rehearsals today.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
