So went and played a round today with a friend and was flying through the course. came up on a 3some on the 9th and they let us by, then came upon the second group on the 16th hole. we were watching them tee off on the 16th while we played the par 3 15th. We then came over to the Tee Box on the 16th and they were all looking for there pulled shots in the left bush while they left their carts parked on the fairway so my bud and I just leaned on our clubs and hung out. In a couple minutes they came out and one guy dropped a ball beside his cart in the middle of the fairway and took his shot to the green and preceded to hit his ball short of the green and into the lake that has an inlet that protects the green. So guess what after hitting that shot into the water, he goes and grabs another ball from his bag and hits another on onto the lake, then once again grabs another ball and does the same thing!! Geesh dude, look behind you and reanact your favorite movie on your on time cause your holding us up! And after all that he still never made the green! LOL

Man I know how you feel. It sucks getting held up behind that situation. But I also know how he feels. Believe me he had it a lot worse than you

On #15 at my course, I've "tin-cupped" it for the past 3 rounds. It's a very reachable Par 5, only 535yds. The FW doglegs to the right and there's water guarding the green. If you pipe a drive and cut the corner, it's easily 200yds to the green. Well, the past 3 day I've had between 195-215 to the pin and I just feel obligated to go for it from that distance. I've hit 4 iron into the water 3 days in a row too. You would think I would learn a lesson but I haven't. I guess it's a mental thing, but I can't get past it.

Now that is funny, I wish I would have done that the other day when a guy in front of me hit 5 balls in the water on a par three. Then went up and dropped one, chipped twice, putted once then finally picked up. I don't mind a guy practicing considering the pace was a little slow anyway, but he should have gave up a few shots before.

    • Ok, great. Best of luck to you in the future. I gave you the answer for significantly less than $20k though, just sayin.
    • Thanks for getting back. Much appreciated. So how is the distance compared to your previous club? Also, dispersion? In general, did you think it an upgrade?
    • dont worry i was hitting balls in my $20000 simulator room and figured it out anway
    • I believe @GolfLug ask me to post my thoughts on it, but this for anyone interested on an unbiased review. I got the 4 hybrid with a Tensie AV Blue 65g R flex shaft.  This club had one requirement. hit the ball 180 yards. 175-178 is all I can get out of it and I am fine with that.  It did not come with a wrench. Two things about that. One, I have a wrench, two, I have no need to make an adjustment. I thought about adjusting it to close to a 3 to get an extra yard or two, but really no need to. Hits off the fairway with no issue and I took a few whacks out of the rough and seems to do its job. Our rough is not that bad so for any thick stuff I dont know. Bottom line it works. It does its job for me without issue. One thing that so far has been good is that it doesn't bleed off to the right like my driving iron did. It had a gentle fade to it that I had to compensate for when I aimed. I hit this pretty straight so far. Not too high of a ball flight. The shaft is a "mid launch" shaft. I did not Mevo this. The only number I cared about was max distance. If I was all over the place with it I would have tinkered with it and had the Mevo out, but no need. I hit about 40 balls or so with it on the range and then played. I like it , I might get a 5 now. They are $249.00 at retailers everywhere. New models are coming I'm told so that's why they are on sale. Sorry for the lack of technical launch monitor data, the end result was what I was looking at and it did it right out of the gate.
