K.J. Choi for the British Open, Anthony Kim for the PGA Championship. This will leave the Masters as the only major in 2008 not won by a player of Asian descent.

I'll pull for AK and I think he has a solid chance but more realistically I'd go with either Ogilvy or Luke Donald.

These words may well come back to haunt me but you have more chance of getting a seat on the next space shuttle than those three have of winning the Open

Yep, like a lot of others here, I'm picking

Sergio Garcia . However, he isn't turning up at Birkdale until Sunday: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mai.../sgopen107.xml

I really don't see all the hype surrounding Sergio, so I don't believe he is going to win. I think it will be someone new this year, perhaps their first major title. My guesses are as follows:

Europeans:
* Tim Clark (I know he's S. African, but I'm throwing him into the European group anyways)
* Alex Cejka
* Henrik Stenson

Non-Europeans:
* Stewart Cink
* Robert Allenby
* Hunter Mahan

You really cannot look past sergio 1st, 3rd, 20th, 2nd tells it all and how he played on Sunday at the London with those winds say it all
Again look at Robert Karlson his string has been amazing not outside 13th since the Masters
Westwood is just playing amazing golf those three have to be my picks
AK not a chance he hasnt played Links golf
Donald not a chance hasnt played since the US Open

Big Easy or Garcia

People are overlooking Els a little going into next week's British Open. He played ok at the U.S. Open, and he has a phenomenal history at the British Open. I'll be surprised if he doesn't finish in the top 10.

He seems to always crack on the last day and a half. That's why I steered away from thinking maybe Els.

That Andres Romero always plays well at the British. Maybe him? haha.

I'm going against everything I've said in the past and I'm picking Sergio.
