If I won the lottery and I did not have to work anymore I would do the following below:

1) Put money into a college trust fund for my kids and brother and sister's kids and maybe my good friends kids also.
2) Join a golf club like the Olympic Club.
3) Play golf everyday or everyother day.
4) volunteer at the First Tee program.
5) Buy my mom and my wife's family a new multi-unit building with an elevator so the family can live there.
6) Start a company and employ my family and friends.
7) Take more vacations with the family.

Not a whole lot different than right now. Other than pay off the Mortgage. I dont want to be one of those lottery winners that ends up bankrupt in 5 years.

1) Start a scholarship fund for high school students.
2) Build a state of the art computer lab and provide every student in my town with a laptop.
3) Create a trust fund for both of my boys.
4) Go to Italy and Russia, followed by two weeks on a safari trip in Kenya.
5) Purchase a condo on the beach for my mom.
6) This would be my favorite. Set my alarm clock for 5AM and proceed to fling it as far out the window as I can.

Design, build, and run my own golf course. This has always been a dream of mine. I figure with that kind of capital I could get a decent start.

Buy my parents a big house in the nicest neighborhood, 2 new cars, and a checking account with enough money so that my dad could retire.

Pay off my student loans.

Beyond that, I'm not sure.

As soon as I can live comfortably on interest generation, I plan to do just that. Of course, my expenses would increase from more golf. I think someone on this board said he works 4 days a week and plays golf the extra day. That's something I plan to do before I'm 30 (for reference, I turned 25 last month), independent of lottery.

Oh, and I'd be surprised if I won the lottery. I never even buy tickets!

Do 2 chicks at the same time, I figure a guy with a million bucks could pull that off.

Seriously though I'd probably be trying to work my way up the club racing ladder and get into SCCA pro racing, maybe MX-5 cup and eventually ALMS.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
