I just got a free grip in the mail today from Lamkin. Sting free technology 580 round standard and was wondering which club I can put it on from my bag.

i've switched to lamkin crossline full cords and i'm happier than ever. i have 6 wraps on though which makes them pretty much jumbo grips but they're the best!

Why not put it on your driver?

I have the Lamkin Dual Density Torsion Control - they are a nice grip - BUT for my taste they get used up way to fast. When i regrip i go for Golfpride Multicompunds - they seem more solid.

Made me laugh. Thanks. P.S. when my nephew was born, I had to stop using some words which normally exited my lips far too frequently. I don't know why, but I started substituting "Zoinks!" Weird because I didn't even watch cartoons as a kid.

Holy smokes batman! My grip came in the mail today!

Kinda ridiculous though - it was literally stuffed into a plain white envelope!

Edit: Don't lie people, you know you did a practice swing with just the grip. Just admit it!

Off topic....but I couldn't resist commenting. I used these on my previous driver and woods. They stayed in excellent shape for years. They didn't have quite the amount of "tackiness" that the Tour Velvet Cords had...but I think the have more exposed cording and they feel great.

I got mine the other day as well. So is it safe to say that this grip will fit on a driver? It was marked 580 which I assume means .58? I just don't want to remove a perfectly good grip just to screw up putting this one on because it is too small.

On a side note, I got my golf balls from Callaway around the same time as my grip even though I was never successful with a code lol.

Just put it on whatever club needs a change the most.

Go to the Lampkin website and click the box for the grip promotion you can still get it.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
