How do you mark your Titleist(or any other golf ball)?

i mark my titleist with a pink sharpie. i first outline the word "titleist" with the marker, then fill it in, only on one side, and the alignment must always be on my right side when marking the ball. i was a big baseball player back in the day, im very superstitious haha

i use a alignment tool to create a cross like alignment aid on my one black. i also place a black dot above the swoosh.

I bought a bunch of logo overruns from Golfsmith so mine is the ball with the brown eagle on the side.

Once I was playing a round and kept finding ball after ball with HUGE red lettering that read "SONNY". I think I picked up 6 of his balls that day, maybe 8. I guess we have the same problems! By the last ball I was dying of laughter. Anyway, after the round I was having a beer and I hear somone yell "Sonny!" to a guy, I whip around, and figure...that has to be him. I went out to my bag and got all the "Sonny" balls and walked over and gave them to him. His playing partners almost died laughing.

I mark my ball with a red 'X' through the number on both sides of ball. The 'X' is about 1/2 square, so it's big enough to see easily from a distance, but small enough not to distract me.

I used to just mark the ball with a dot or something similar, but stopped that a couple years ago when my ball and one from adjoining hole were in same area and the the other player hit my ball (after checking it) and swore it was his ball, even though I could tell looking at the other ball that it wasn't mine for sure. I know the one he hit had been mine as I saw it land and then saw the other guy approach my ball and look at it. The other ball was about 10 feet into rough. His marking was very similar to mine (same color and almost in same spot, so that led me to marking my 'X' the way I do. I usually mark all the balls in the box the day I buy them before they ever go into bag.

i use black and blue (my school colors) sharpie and draw on my initials in morse code over the "titleist" (or "top flite" depending on which ball im using).
