Apparently they purchased insurance against this as well and have a policy out in case Sergio does win.. i wonder how much the premium was for that.

My take, not very high....insurance plays on odds, and I think Michelle Wi, has a better chance than Sergio to win, but in case hell freezes over, and all the planets aling behind the sun...I'm mailing my entries

LOL Funniest thing I've ever seen!

So let me get this straight....I have note the evelope that this is a "No Puerchase Submittion"?

Golfsmith's Website:

b. Participate by Mail Without Purchasing a Promotional Item: To participate without making a purchase, print the forms from www.golfsmith.com/gosergio or visit a local store and ask any employee for a copy of the entry forms.
Fill out the forms completely and mail to Golfsmith Driver Refund Promotion, P.O. Box 6168, Dept. 35, Douglas, AZ 85655-6168 (“No Purchase Submission”) . Your No Purchase Submission must be postmarked during the Promotional Period and received by April 30, 2009 to be eligible.

So does this mean...That receive it, see it's a no purchase entry, and destroy it???

Makes you wonder?

This would be illegal, not that the law has stopped fraud in the past. If you are worried spend the few dollars and send it registered mail, return receipt.

Sergio won't care any more, or feel any more pressure. I personally think that he has got a good chance to win the Masters this year. He's a great ball-striker, but an iffy putter. Of course, nobody putts good on Augusta's greens.

It's just GolfSmith's way to get a bunch of people's information on file so they can bombard you with promotional crap in the future.

Sergio has very little chance - if any - to win the Master's. He's only won 7 times all together on the PGA Tour. He hasn't made the cut at Augusta since 2006 - when he finished in 46th place. He did manage a top 10 in 2002 and 2004.

No Chance...

    • Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.
    • Does Justin Thomas have a massively underrated short game? It seems every time I look up he's hitting it close from a tough lie after short siding himself. What masterful touch
    • I freaking hate them. Too expensive, cheaters, food sucks, too dependent on weather, I keep telling myself never do it again but I'm a dummy
    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
