Not sure if this has been discussed in the past, but do you walk or ride?

I will always walk unless it is raining or extremely hot.

I always walk regardless of conditions, just doesn't feel the same to be in a cart.

I ride because I do not have a choice as most of us dont in central FL.

I wouldnt want to walk my home course anyway. The 7000 something from the blues is probably at least doubled with the space between greens and tees

Mostly walk unless the cart is free. Usually doubles price of a round if a ride so I choose not to.

This is probably gonna make some of the older members mad, but here it goes. I like to ride because I've got bad knees. It runs in my family, but I get tendonitis really easily when I walk. The impact of carrying a bag on my knees takes it toll and I can barely walk when its over

Walked over half my rounds prior to Januarry of this year. I screwed up my left knee and haven't walked much since.

Things are getting better although wearing this restrictive brace isn't comfortable....it allows me to play.

Just depends what I want to accomplish. If I need to play a quick round then I ride. I feel if I walk I play more consistent and stay in the game more though. I usually score better if I walk, but I tend to hit better shots later in the round if I ride. Maybe I just need to get back into shape? haha...

I will ride 100% of the time. Most of the courses that I play don't allow walking. Even the ones that allow it, I still won't do it. Why? Just lazy I guess. My biggest reason is because I don't play very much at all. I look at a golf outing as a time to relax and enjoy the day and the company. The last thing I want to do is suffer through the 90 degree heat while walking. Not fun. I just want to enjoy the day of golfing. I am 35, in relatively good shape, I just don't want to walk.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

    • Just exaggerating the crap out of sending the club head back and behind me in the downswing.  just trying to learn how to feel the club head working down back and under my hands into impact. It’s been a battle against the steepening pattern.  most of the time, as soon as I initiate torso, turn the right hand just wants to twist over the left and steep in the club to send the club out towards the ball. 1. Back swing looks better and it’s getting easier to not have to think as much about it. Lots of maintaining the hands in front of my torso as I turn.  2. From A2.5 to A5, its juts trying to flip the wrists over and drop them down. Trying to keep the right palm up as much as possible. Then pray I can turn to hit the ball.

    • Thank you, sir.  As I sit here right this moment I'm mentally gearing up for Wednesday Night golf league. I'm stoked to play as I'll be very curious if I've found something real or if it's just a blip on the radar.
    • That is a 9.8 differential if my calculations are correct. That would be an exceptional score if it is 7.0 less than your handicap index. Congrats
    • I believe that @billchao has suggested that I fall into this category.  .... Although technically I believe he referred to me as an "ass-clown". ... Which at the time seemed like a compliment. 🤷‍♂️
