I'm not out $10. There's three rounds left (for Phil), and besides, Rafi's out the money, not me.

Ohh ok didn't know it was for the entire weekend thought it was just for today.

I would bet that Phil's score doesn't get worse then +12 for the entire weekend.

did anyone hear about that other story about tiger and phil? i'm still not sure if its true of not, but anyways apparently they were in the locker room and phil was telling tiger he could beat him in everything, badmiton, table tennis, bunch of other stuff, and then tiger was like i can take u on in anything where u have to run.....hehe, if its true i guess tiger wins at least in the come back column, since it appears he cant win right now in the US Open, though technically he will have a lower score

I've been trying to shed my hatred for Mickelson. Part of me accepts that he is just as stupid as his sister and is just too dumb to know what's going on, but the other part thinks he's smarter than that and he's just a rat.

What the hell?

I would guess the "story" about Phil and Tiger in the locker room, if its true, is in the nature of competitive ribbing. That's pretty normal, funny really. Where are you coming from on your comment?

What the hell?

I agree with the competitive ribbing thing, but Phil just seems fake to me. However, I can't decide whether or not he's fake anymore, he seems more genuine for some reason. There was a thread on this before.

If the Phil/Tiger story is true, Mickelson must really think the world revolves around him. As it stands, I'm giving Mickelson the benefit of the doubt as he seems to be more genuine these days than my past impression of him.

Nah, I concede. Rafi owes you $10, which works out since he lives near you.

I'm rooting for Phil today because... then we'll get to see how Tiger can play when he really, really, really cares (about preventing a slam like his own).

A little rivalry is good fun ... remember, last year Phil (after signing with Callaway) said he was surprised Tiger plays as well as he does considering his equipment.

Bury me with a golf glove in my pocket - just in case!

Tiger was last seen in the gallery of Winged Foot GC during the fourth round of the US Open. He was witnessed giving the famous choke sign (a la Reggie Miller to Spike Lee in Madison Square Garden) to Lefty on the 72nd hole.

Here's to carrying three drivers for the British!!

I hate Phil.

    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
