I just picked up a few nice shirts at Dick's from the sale racks. I also saw a lot of nice shirts for $20 each at JC Penny yesterday.

Don't know if they still have them but several years ago I bought 6 or 8 pair of kakai and bone shorts at Old Navy for like $12 a pair. They make great golf shorts as I don't worry about getting them dirty or stained. I only golf in them.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

On the internet The best deals are on the internet, but all of my apparel is Adidas Clima-Cool. But if you don't want $59.99 shirts, maybe Izod or Dick's?

hey guys what is the best place to buy some golf apparel?

I've really like the Greg Norman collection but don't like paying full price. Today I found some great closeouts on Greg Norman golf shirts at

Belk.com .

Before my Palm Springs trip last week (OUTSTANDING, btw) I found Kohl's golf shirts with the dry weave on sale for $12 each. Bought all the colors they had. They are pretty good looking, and really did keep me relatively cool in the desert heat.

TJ Maxx just had a big sale on PGA and Izod dry-fit polos-I got 5 that I think were $12 each.

Old Navy, believe it or not, just came out with a line of dry-fit stuff. The polos were $10 when I was in there. Not much for color selection, but the price is right.

Last weekend, I bought 3 different Nike Dri-Fit polos at Ross. Each had a regular price of $70 or above. I got each one for $16.99. I even got the one that my golfer in TW '09 wears pretty regularly!

Sports Authority has some really nice Tommy Armour Polo type shirts with their Dri-Logic. for like $17.99 right now, they are like 60% off. Black, Blue and White.

I like the PGA Tour line at JC Penny's... I picked up a few for less than $15 because they were on clearance this time of year, and they work as good as any other moisture wicking shirt I have. Also, Dillards had some nice shirts in the past.

My problem is that most shirts at the Galaxy and Dick's are too short... I usually need 2XLT, and the department stores have tall sections whereas at Dick's and Galaxy I can never find a tall.

My brother-in-law likes the ones he got at Kohls...

    • PXG ones are free when booked through us at our facility. I don't know what the situation is like in your area, though.
    • Are free fittings a common thing? I was kind of under the assumption that there was usually a cost associated with them, unless you actually purchased their clubs or something.  What's the best way to find free ones?
    • I'd find a free fitting, take your clubs, and see what you can see. For example, we have a PXG fitter come to our academy every Tuesday, and he's great about sharing info about why he's having you hit a certain shaft or clubhead or something. And… if you don't see much of a change, skip it.
    • Day 1 (3 Apr 25) - Restarting the routine after a 4 day quick trip.  Got back in the groove today for some swings of the 6i and driver into the net -‘to just warm the muscles a little.  Wrapped up the day with grandson hitting 20-25 yd pitches in the backyard.  Love watching his swing and also his concept of course management, to hear him say he left himself in a good position to finish (good words from a soon to be 9 yr old)….
    • Day 185 - 2025-04-03 Had a good 2.5 hour session at Golf Evolution. Kinda glad it was still wet and windy out today as I wouldn't have gotten such a good session in if I played. Got up to 93 MPH (with a pause) on my 6I and 130 MPH ball speed (on a different slightly slower hit, a bit more de-lofted than I'll want eventually).
