No options for adult men's grips sizes?

I use a Lamkin Crossline Jumbo grip (+1/8) which also has a .580 core. When put over a standardard shaft (with a .600 butt diameter) it increases the grip size just enough that it feels right (and my fingers don't dig into my palm.)

Anything smaller than that I consider a ladies grip. ;) Honestly though, a club with a standard men's grip feels like I'm holding a pencil.

i have larger than normal hands and use mid-size grips. it made a major difference in my gripping the club - the mid-sizes are much, much more comfortable and natural feeling for my hands.

Is there a way to get fitted for this?

I am about to regrip all of my irons and want to do it correctly. I have smallish hands, but I think going with an extra wrap would feel better to me.

Right now I play with standard multi cord with one wrap.

In my bag:
Driver: R5 TP Diamana 83s Shaft
Fairway: Burner 15 degree Fujikura REAX
Hybrid: Custom 19 degree
Irons: DCI 990 S300 4-PW

Wedges: NF 52.04*, Spin Milled 56.10* and 60.08*

Putter: Red X3

Ball: ProV1

A guy did measure me once (and recommended what I am now using), but I don't remember the criteria he used.

Regrip 1 club and see how it feels. I really think experimenting till you find what feels best is the best way on something like this.

I recently went unconventional after being introduced to "super-oversized" grips, and I would never go back to a standard grip. The improvement in my distance and accuracy was immediate. They are the size of a baseball bat grip and they allow you to place your hands very softly on the club without clamping down on the grip. I can go at the ball harder and stay in control. For me, they work really well, and I didn't need to adapt to a different swing (as in natural golf). I wear a M/L glove, swing speed is 103 and I'm a 9 Handicap.

Hope no one minds me resurrecting an old thread ... but I just replaced the standard grip on my sand wedge with a Lamkin Oversize - man what an improvement.    I have XL hands and it feels as you say just like a baseball bat - LOVE it.      Gonna give it a few rounds before I change everything over, but with my big hands, it really feels good.     One of my biggest pains after a round lately has been sore right fingers - I'm hoping this oversize grip will help ...

My hands are not long but they are wider and thicker than an average hand i have two extra wraps on my irons, which still seem a tad small. on my wedges I have two wraps with a third wrap under my bottom (right) hand. my driver has two wraps and my 3 wood and two hybids are factory grips, which when its time extra tape will be added. of all of them my wedges feel the bst grip wise. I am actually interested in trying those jumbo max grips and or a reversed taper grip just out of curiosity.

I have short fingers, average hand width. ML cadet golf glove, standard grips. I use to build up my grips under my left hand, but as I don't hook the ball as much these days I now go standard.

Back 15 years ago when I wore a glove, I used a large, but I've almost always used a standard grip.  I tried midsize for a while last year.  At first they seemed better, but as time went on I found myself having difficulty releasing the club, and my iron distances became rather erratic.  I'm back to a standard grip (Golf Pride Tour Velvet) and it feels so much more natural again.  I might get away with an extra wrap of tape, but I'm not that worried about it.

So I chose average/standard on the poll, because I'm just a very average kind of guy.

2XL glove, but standard grip, stretched. I play the grip down low in my fingers, so they barely get around the grip and almost, but not quite, touch my palm.

Long thin finger and XL glove.  I switched to mid-size last year and it feels way more comfortable.  Standard grips feel like pencils in my hand.  I also feel that I can reduce grip pressure and still feel secure.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
