Damned if I know.

A bunch of 73's over the years. The most recent was Panther Lakes at Orange County National. 6849 yds 73.2/132.

You'd think at some point I could shoot a 72, wouldn't you?

You didn't define "best." Lowest in relation to par? Lowest total? Lowest differential? Fairest weather? Most enjoyable company? Crispest ball-striking day? Most number of FIR% and GIR%?

Best round was a day at Spyglass 10 years ago with my regular group. Struck the ball solid all day and putted well. Cleaned the table on the bets too which just made it that much better. I've had lower scores, but this was just a memorable day on all counts.

Score 68
Blue Rating: 75.5/Slope 147; Yardage - 6,953

Had a day at Poppy Hills last year where I hit 14 fairways and all 18 greens and shot 72, but that was frustrating because I couldn't get a putt to drop.

81 on a 70.3/125.

Glad to see a lot of folks with much lower handicaps with about the same best score. I guess I need to work on consistency.
