Ah, Tiger finally got his birdie to go one under for the day. Great shot really, just taped it with the edge of his wedge. Now he's in trouble though, in the bunker.

But how about Y. E. Yang, at -6 chasing Tiger. And the fact that he started the game of golf at age 19 is proof that it's never too late.

Tiger is playing like crap today. No other way of describing it.

That shot at 15 is one of the worst shots he's ever hit in his career. Absolutely atrocious shot from just 60 yards.

Maybe Paddy put some Irish mind altering hoodoo hex on him.

I agree with whoever said Tiger is just sand-bagging. He must read this forum and doesn't want us to be dissappointed with a boring run away win tomorrow!

is it just me, or does vijay really suck at putting. i feel embarrassed for the guy. he's not even giving himself a chance.

vijay's confidence with his putter has basically evaporated... he used to be at least a decent putter but he's really struggling :x

tiger and yang? not really keen on that matchup. tiger and paddy would be infinitely better. i love to watch them go tete a tete.

I'm with ya. He really knows his golf but he wears me out watching him. He has some great tips on his show. "The golf fix"

Yes he does! I love watching the golf fix, he always has some great info. As far as his announcing goes, I do like him much better than Faldo (who sounds like me, doing a bad Austin Powers Impression), but there have been a couple times where I just wanna tell Breed to chill out for a sec, and breathe!! lol

Yeah, Veej has definitely had his chances, but the putter failed him, in a major kinda way. I'm like you, feel kinda bad for him. He

should have been in the lead by now, but blew too many easy putts.

I wouldn't say he sucks at putting. I've seen plenty of guys who SUCK at putting. Vijay had a bad putting day. Big difference in my mind.

ok... perhaps he doesn't 'suck' at putting, he's just really bad at it. honestly, unless you're putting consistently at all times, i don't think one can rightly be called a good putter. he missed four within 5 feet. not to mention he's in the bottom ten in putts per round.

I think the pressure to win another major will really tell on Tiger tomorrow and I predict a mild choke. Anybody within 6 shots of the lead can win tomorrow.

Stenson is a real contender if he plays well tomorrow....Lucas Glover could make a charge too.

    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
    • Day 40 (20 Dec 25) - got in a few reps with the 55° wedge - focused on low flighted spinners from about 10 yds in, then wrapped up the session with a few bump and runs chips with the 5i using a putting type stroke.
    • Day 26: did my drill in the driveway for a bit. Feeling pretty decent about the change.
