I am regretting selling an old T-line putter of mine from the 70s which resembled a basic 8802 blade style model but with alignment marks.
I am aware of the Yes! Sophia and Cameron Napa putters, but am wondering if there is anything else out there of that style that I may not know about.

Thanks very much in advance!

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

I used to have an Odyssey Dual Force 882 putter. I think the new model they have closest to that style is the one that Phil uses, the number nine.

I picked up a new Maxfli Crossbax 1.0 on ebay as a backup putter, can be found for around $30-$60. Appears to be a strait-up Wilson 8802 copy, with a slightly heavier head. You could also look for a Ping Tess model.

Yonex Super ADX Tour Forged they made it for Phill and is a good copy.

Yup. I just bought a new putter, but I'm craving one of these already. I'm a new golfer, but I sure do love the equipment already.

I just finally bought a left handed tour special I forged...been considering this for a while but couldnt find lefties. an all original grip very good condition for 35 bucks i couldnt pass up. unfortunately pulled the trigger a bit too late before it could get to my house and i take wifh me to D.C. so i have no response on it.

but from my high interest in this traditional style blade i recently found on golfsmith. the snake eyes sv1. It come just as a putter head but at $25 Its affordable enough to build your own putter nicely and still have extra money left over compared to some prices. people tend to write off snake eyes now that its owned by goldsmith but reviews of this putter tell me otherwise. Some say "like rolling marshmellows off the face"

only thing keeping me from trying this putter was its offered only as right handed. Probably golfsmith can only afford to research soo much and make soo many kinds.

not long after figuring out the tour special forged I

bought a yes! sophia from rockbottomgolf.com for 40 dollars! steal!

it was a putter ive been wanting for a while. i was a bit disappointed though.

the hosel is shaped a bit weirdly. its well behind the leading edge of the putter which i assume takes out the possibility of hitting the hosel. but i doubt that anybody uh sing this still putter has this problem. if they do they need to change putter styles, or hit the practice green more.

the alignment dot doesnt line up properly. its in the middle of the "c-groove" insert but that leads to the insert also being lined up incorrectly.

i thought maybe the dot was inside of the sweetspot to aid the path arcing but why would the inserts still be off center? i thought maybe since the grooves curve they help spin the ball a bit in order to help putts where the face doesnt close fully.

but this putter its a good putter. takes time to get over some of the visual cues. but if you trust it, sink it, and bag it you will be a happy golfer. this putter is better than my tour special in feeling softer and holding the green as well as precision distance control on mid-long and longgg putts. but the tour special has better feedback and possibly better lag.

its a toss up but hey why bag one, may start a blade collection.

next the 8882 BLK (black) putter since its the newest now offered in lefty.

rife bimini is a beauty.

cleveland design by arent often in lefty, and a bit pricey from what ive been able to find.

idk if mizuno bettinardi has any wilson blade style putters but id consider if they have one

im a much better putter now because of my Tour Special Forged. my best putting season by far.
