Can't really tell if it's a "golf cart" per say. Pretty irresponsible driving it like that through traffic too. Oh well...I guess. I'd like to see someone in a following vehicle film it. I myself would rather roll in this one.

Gotta love Google images.

Golf course I used to work at back in high school had gas carts, and we quickly discovered how to take the governors off. Now, they in no way drove like the one in that video! But I'd bet we got them going ~30mph, which looking back was probably very unsafe (and not great for the carts either)

I could play in 30 minutes in a cart like that.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

Some may call it sounding like old women...some may call it acting like you have common sense. I have ridden street bikes and dirt bikes since I was 13 (now 31) and we always talk about how stupid the guys are that run 100mph on little back roads and what not...and the guys that try to stunt on public streets. I guess once you see friends go down and really get hurt, it makes you act like an old woman...or act like you have common sense.

I was just funnin with ya. I've wrecked more bikes, 4 wheelers been banged up hurt and done more stupid stuff than the average bear. That's just how I was at one time and am lucky I never killed myself. My son's 16 &14 are nothing like I was....Thank God. They ride birt bikes & 4 wheelers and don't have the need to push it to the edge like I always did.

I don't fault people who do not wish to push the limits, but at the same time I understand why people do.

About the only abnormal thing about that vid was the guy was not wearing a collared shirt so he would not be able to play on the course.

I understand. The adrenaline is an addictive thing!! I am the same way you were. You are lucky. My step son is 7 and he is already a daredevil. I was actually wanting to get him a dirtbike for x-mas but his momma won't let me.

Haha!!! Yeah, the collared shirt missing won't fly at the country club! Other than that, they would be fine. Shouldn't get in trouble for pace of play

    • I mean there has to be some thought. For eg., something like 'soft knees and wrists' at set up and maybe a dynamic 'left arm to chin' as a trigger to start DS. I have these one or two anchor thoughts and have served me well. In fact, my wildest swings are the one where I have no thoughts or if I forget to walk thru my anchor thoughts. In contrast my best rounds are where I am consistent with the anchor thoughts.    OTOH, if I am running my entire half hour lesson (hypothetical) with some pro that I had last Saturday or whatever before every swing then I'm probably in trouble before I even get over the ball.
    • Two bits. Bit 1 The NCAA's appeal of Brendan Sorsby being granted a temporary injunction will not be heard until February, so there will be nothing to prevent Sorsby from playing the full season and potential CFP.  Bit 2 The Big Ten Conference will hold a meeting and is expected to ban all of its athletic programs from playing Texas Tech in the regular season. Georgia has done the same. The SEC will meet to consider a similar ban. Fellow Big 12 members TCU and Kansas State are spearheading a similar ban, but the conference charter might not allow it. Meanwhile, Big 12 athletic directors are meeting this week to explore what options the conference might have.
    • No, but I'm also in disagreement that golfers have no thoughts over the golf ball, and/or don't ever think I've met someone I truly believe is thinking nothing but "target" or something on most shots.
    • StuM,  I have, in the past, added a left handed club. (Ususally a 7 iron) However, I usually take a stroke penalty and move the ball to where I want it.  I play for fun and in a pinch can use theback side if my club if I don't want the penalty stroke.    RetiredOldMan,  Terry
