Side note: My BF is lucky to have me, I know tons of things about cars, I know my cars, and love sports AND GOLF!!!

Do your golf clubs fit in the trunk of your car? I have a BMW 335 Coupe...I'll post pictures in a second, but my bag with clubs will fit but only diagonally and will fit perfect with the rear seats down with my push cart as well :)

Love the rims!! That thing is a beat

Nice Beamer! Yeah I have to put my clubs in carefully, but they fit in sideways without taking out any of my woods.

LOL, are you a car fanatic? haa haa

Hardly. As mentioned in another thread, I own cars for one thing only. To get me from point A to point B and beyond. I have yet to replace a vehicle that was under 10 years old.

Im pretty big into cars. My father worked for 30 years as an auto mechanic and he taught me pretty much everything he knows.
I used to be pretty big into riceburners, but now Im into American muscle. There is nothing like the styling of a late '60s Ford Mustang and you cant beat the rumble of a V8 under the hood.
I love all cars, but musclecars, especially Mustangs hold a special place in my heart.

True that. I used to work in BH. My head would be turned at least once a day. At least. Biggest head turner, Ferrari Enzo. At first I couldn't believe it. Sure enough though, an Enzo.

I like your 335. I'd kill for one. My friend has one in silver too. Got some nice 20's on. Pretty great car. kpaulhus Your Mustang is Disgusting!!!

I did a dream car tour a few years ago where I had the oppurtunity to drive 6 exotics. F430, Murcielago, Gallardo Spyder, Bently GTC, Aston Martin DB9 Volante and a Porsche (forgot which one, but definitly not a 911 turbo). F430 was my favorite. If I do this again, I'd do their Florida tour. They say the roads/hwys are better down there.

I use to street race an '82 280ZX turbo in the early 90s (I don't agree with street racing, but I was young and stupid.) Stangs use to give me trouble all the time. Oh and Saleens.....OMG!!!

I now drive an '02 Acura TLS. I got the detailing bug when I bought this car and have about $1500 of detailing supplies in my basement. I can squeeze 3 golf bags in the trunk. Hopefully it will last another 3 years. I've traded my car vice for golf since I'm coming off the bench after about 8 years off.

Its not easy...it works best with the rear seats folded down!

I wish i could be into cars. I'm only 17 and have an old VW Jetta 2.0T. It uaually gets to point B, its getting back to point A wherein lies the problem. I'm not an american car fan, but not much looks better than the new Chevy Camero. I'm more of a Japanese car fan though. I love the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo but if i could have any car it would be the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT or the 2010 model (minus the skyline)part- now its just the GT). German cars are OK but i'm more of a sporty car fan rather than luxury.

I'm a pretty big car guy. I'm a really big race fan as well. I'm one of the few random people here in the US that wakes up in the wee hours of the morning to watch Formula 1 races (I'm a pretty die-hard McLaren fan).

I personally don't have anything all that great; I drive a Ford Expedition (I need an SUV/truck to get out to our well sites), and my wife drives my old Infiniti G35 Coupe. My parents on the other hand have a bit of a "collection"; they have a Lexus LX570, Mercedes CLS55 AMG, Mercedes SL65 AMG, and a Mercedes SLR McLaren. When my wife and I were on our honeymoon 2 years ago in London, my dad called a few people so that we could go on his "free tour" of the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, the home of McLaren's F1 team and where the Mercedes SLR is built (if you have an SLR, you can go on a tour of the place). They wouldn't let me take any pictures though; they just gave me a book that has picture in it.

    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
