I just splurged...found a deal on a SC '62 #6...anyone else got one of these bad boys? i'm happy to join the SC family...

The Circa 62 #6 definitely is a unique Scotty Cameron; it's nice to see soemone going that route instead of going with a Newport like 95% of people end up getting. Maybe I'm the weird one, but I always like the unique putter styles that aren't a dime a dozen.

I've always loved the style of putters like the Circa 62 #6. When I was growing up I used a cut-down Ping B60 that had a similar style head. The Ping Redwood D66 I currently am using has a fairly similar style (more compact heel to tow but longer from face to flange, and with the "double bumps" on the flat flange).

agreed, that's why i fell in love with it. my dad has the studio newport 2 and to me if you're going to be spendin that kinda money at least get something that isn't so familiar...he got his on ebay and treats it like shiesse btw. mine will be pampered lol.

For you new California owners.. dont be fooled by that pretty finish.. it will rust if you arent careful with it. Make sure you wipe it down after a round.. and if the conditions were wet that day and the inside of the putter cover may be wet.. leave it off for a day or two to dry out. Trust me

anyone that has a '62...what's the typical care for one? regular wipe off after the round? keep the headcover off when not playing? any issues with touches of rust?

I can't wait to join the SC family which will be next week most likely. I am with you guys and the Circa series. My dad plays the Circa 62 no. 2 and I am trying to get my hand on a Circa 62 no. 7.

This is the case with most putters though. The Honey Dipped finish has been known to fade after a while, but I have plans in case that happens....

Cool, they look sharp. I just bought an old Ping Kushin putter off Ebay. $23 including shipping. Looked in good shape by the pictures. One of my buddies has one that is stamped(made in) Scottsdale, which is a collectors item. But this was made in Phoenix, so not worth much. But I don't care, I liked the look of his and for $23........not much risk. Might have it by tomorrow.

I putted with my 1980 Ping anser today and putted well. I'm going retro baby!

Get yourself a Detour - may not be the prettiest thing to look at - but if you have a swinging gate putting style, boy does it work. I am draining them from all over the place. My competitors at the weekend said they had never seen so many distance putts go in / narrrowly miss.
