Hi all. I was introduced to the game by my dad when I was 13. I've always enjoyed the game, but never stayed with it for more than a few years in a row. 2 years ago I started getting serious about golf when my soon to be father in law asked me to play. Now we play once a week and also hit the range each week. The game means alot to me now. I've always been a good ball striker, as my dad was a near scratch player and a wonderful teacher. Now I'm learning to score with a good short game/putting. I'm tinkering with some new blades now, and new metal woods. I really enjoy this site and look forward to learning from reading all the posts.

Thanks guys! I played today at our usual course Shalimar Creek in Lakeland. I played a new set of clone blades my friend assembled for me and struggled a bit, but I was expecting it. I'm off on tues,sat,sun. If anyone would like to play, let me know. I usually play with my fiancee's dad on sat or sun. I try to play on tuesdays. I sometimes play Cove Cay or East bay. I play in lakeland on the weekend since my fiancee lives there.

I have played Cove Cay and East Bay. Cove Cay is a cool little course (views of the Bay) and East Bay is a real test especially if the wind is blowing...I have never played Shalimar Creek...might need to check it out sometime.

Dang I wish I could play this weekend but I am at least two months from swinging a club (rotator and labrum tear surgery in January)...I look forward to hooking up wioth you guys soon.

      Day 234 (23 Dec 24) - Mystery Monday - what to do today….pretty straight up as I spent time with the 58 and a series of pitches (lower flighted all the way up to high fliers over the tulip tree).  Wrapped up the day going lower ball with the 9i and easy bump and runs.  Again as always the setup was key - case in point, got lazy and casually set up, feet straight and promptly hit a couple of nice heely shots hard right.  Knew it immediately, as next couple I went through the routine and flew the balls promptly too the target point.  Setup - setup - setup…
