Wow, 2 Srixons and a Maxfli. BTW the picture you have for Stewart Cink is of the Nike CCi Cast, not the CCi forged. The Forged model is more of a brushed metal look and doesn't have the plastic things on the bottom.

Camilo Villegas is listed as Cobra Pro CB, but the picture is of the Pro MB.

Ah, forgot I can't edit my posts after some time on this forum. Oh well...

I made this because I read somewhere that a lot of the best players use CB irons, which turned out to be correct. If they can work the ball with cavity backs, why not everyone else.

I've always wondered if Mizuno put up the big money like Nike, TM, Cally, ect, how many top pros would play them? I've had forged irons from all of the top manufacturers and Mizzy's are by far the best I've had in my hands.

McIlroy: switched to the 710 mb

Kenny Perry: played R9s and Burners , not sure whats it now

Garcia and Goosen: playing the R9 TP B- Head (tour issue) , probably Sean plays them too but i'm not sure

Not sure about : Perry, O'Hair, Allenby and Cink

It's actually three Srixons... Allenby uses Srixon i-701 tour irons, not Maxfli ......but what surprises you about this?

Nice thread. Goes to show that it's the archer, not the arrow. The top players can switch sponsors and irons (see Woods--used to play titleist, Ogilvy--used to play cobra, Mickelson--used to play Yonex), but their rankings stay the same.
