I was thinking of getting these Cell Fusions, but I've always had FootJoys and these have those "quill" spikes on them. Some of them are removable in groups of 3 like regular spikes, but just wondering how they hold up, any issues, etc.

Those look awesome!! I have never had Puma Golf Shoes , but I own quite a few pair of Puma Sneakers and they are great! They make a pretty comfortable shoe

I tried these shoes at the end of last season (forgot mine and a buddy had an extra pair, he likes to be color coordinated) I can't really say much about how they hold-up but I've never heard a complaint from my friend (and he complains about everything so its a good sign). One thing I will say is they are not as stable as my FJs I find that my front (left) font tends to lift through my follow through as opposed to my FJs which can withstand the force I am putting on it. I will admit they were very comfortable and they were not even broken in to my feet, they are also very light.

I would rock those for sure!! I personally own quite a few Puma shoes as well...Though they are on the skinny side for me since I have wide feet.

I have no experience with Puma. However, I've decided to ONLY wear Nike golf spikes now because their spike setup is vastly superior to other brands. The 3-pronged setup takes a massive dump on the threaded setups other brands use. I wish Nike made better styles, though

I own 3 Pumas with Quills. No problems whatsoever. They don't seem to "dig" as much as my old FJs, but I don't miss that at all. They do what they are supposed to do, nothing more and nothing less. I bought them because I like Puma...they and J. Lindeburg are the only manufacturers that I wear.

I have 1 pair of puma's and 3 pairs of FJ's. I have no complaints about the puma's the are very stable and comfortable. The only negative thing I could say is the spikes seem to wear down a little fast.

I have Puma Swing GTXs with quills (the quills are all permanent), they have held up well and I like them, I find for me they work as well as standard spikes for swinging. I do not wear them if I walk as they are narrow and don't fit my feet as well as my PUMA GTX GTs or Puma Saddles which are the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever owned. Keep in mind I have only worn them when riding in a cart (I walk more than I ride), but they appear to be holding up well and when they are worn out I will feel I have gotten my moneys worth. If they fit my feet better I would buy them again as they are well built shoes.

The puma shoes I wear now are holding up a lot better than the addidas 360 LTDs which broke apart after a year of use. The perma quills are awesome. You won't have to spend 15 bucks every couple months to change out the spikes...
